Me too. How many times can we get down to our last strike and rally to win?

I was just kidding

I'll take winning any way I can get it. But it's not good for my blood pressure!

The Nats did everything right to win that game. They had Clippard and Storen in there to shut the game down and simply couldn't get it done. Storen I thought pitched well in the ninth but he just couldn't get yadi and freese to chase anything. Still can't believe that happened.

Yea. It was the Nationals just choking away. The Cardinals didn't scratch off runs in 4 different innings to get back in the game. The Nationals pretty much just let them score the run in those innings to keep it interesting.

And then in the 9th, Ian Desmond totally alligator armed that ground ball. Had nothing to do with Descalso scorching it. Also had nothing to do with Beltran lacing that laser to CF or Yadi/Freese having two of the best at-bats of the series. It also had nothing to do with Kozma fighting off a tough, tough pitch to dump into right field (where have I seen that before? oh that's right, Tyler Moore won game #1 on the same exact play).

I don't think I've ever seen a MLB manager shocked

Like I saw Davey Johnson last night. If I were him, I would have walked Kozma and gotten Motte out of the game and probably force it to extra innings. All the Cardinals had left on the bench was Tony Cruz- and you knew he was coming in because the Cardinals pinch ran for Molina. Cruz is not a very good hitter and Motte hasn't had an at bat this year. So either way, I would much rather face one of those two vs. Kozma.

I was worried that we were going to see scrabble or Salas try to close that game out until Davey had a brain fart and made it an obvious decision for Matheny after Kozma got the go ahead hit.

I'm not too surprised though- I wasn't real impressed with Davey Johnson's managing or lack thereof in the World Baseball Classic.
