Greenland is a strategic move. If they just go Independent and work with us as their number 1 ally it's a win.
We let millions of Italians become Americans. 50,000 white people from Greenland shouldn't bother you. Unless you don't like white people? Unlike the Roman Empire we will at least let them decide. It is 2025.
I have no problem with Greenlanders voting to be independent, apply for statehood or citizenship. My original point was becoming a U.S. territory is not a panacea for prosperity.
My parents and grandparents thank you for letting us become citizens.
Greenland isn't Puerto Rico either. People don't live there for the weather. It is a blue collar population.

Get a grip. They came thru Ellis Island with all the proper documentation. They worked in the steel mills and worked for a better life for their familys. Because of them, I was able to be the first generation in my family to go to college. I'm a proud WVU grad, thanks to their sacrifice.

Nobody including Trump thinks we should take Greenland by force. But we definitely aren't going to allow China and Brics to have it either. We at a minimum need them to be a big ally.

Do you know why Italians were called WOP? With out papers, My great grand father came here in the late 1800's. Settled in the mingo county area. He was a stone mason like so many Italians. I'm not sure he had papers.
