perhaps at the party you will run into to the classy mom who called a "thug" player who could play in the IVY league (along with other NAZ kids currently playing in the IVY league) a piece of S>>> as the young man left the field. You may also run into the player who posted real classy comments on the NAZ website last week. And I guess while you are there maybe you can get the NAZ offensive card that was dropped on the field during the game and retrieved, not returned if you get my drift.

All.... The only drift I get is there are fans like that everywhere. Never said or implied that there wasn't. Doesn't excuse kicking an opposing player in the head. I can't make it any easier for you to understand. Ratsy

Took the words right out of my mouth. I witnessed some SHG fans (adults) screaming obscenities at Naz players after the game. The players response was priceless “you’re and adult and you’re talking to a kid that way!”

I also have visual proof of the HC and DC at SHG holding Naz’s playcards during the game. Grabbed by a player, given to the HC who pocketed them and gave them to the DC later on. The DC then had them out the rest of the game. I have multiple pictures and video showing it as we noticed it and went to SHG stands to prove it.

I guess if you live in glass houses you really shouldn’t throw stones.

All.... Once again I'm not throwing stones. Your outrage is misdirected. There is no place in kicking a player down on the field in the head. As for the playcard I would of called a timeout called the HC out to the middle of the field and asked for it back. Did Racki do that. I would of. I do find keeping the card wrong if it happened. Hope that makes you feel a little better. Ratsy

Cornerrat,

Perhaps I should have asked you to explain your clock operator, the refs wound the clock but miraculously it stood still and stoped on the first 10+ yard pick up with only 3 seconds elapsed, then the ball was clocked in less than 2 seconds, you get the picture. Since the clock operator is part of the home team, that is on the cyclone's staff.

All..... Not heated at all, really! I as well as many Cyclone faithful new they were underdogs in this game. With an enrollment of 643 (I'm told it's actually less) and said to be dropping again class 6A postseason play was a challenge albeit a fun one. Everyone is unhappy with refs. I believe that crew was out of the Metro East. Note though that in the playoffs ALL schools have no say in assignments of those crews. You get what the IHSA sends like it or not. Ratsy

Cornerrat,

As I said last night, not completely kosher but he drug his heel across the helmet, he didn't wind up and kick the kid in the head as you seem to want to imply, it could have even been an accident for all you know. What we do know is every oppurtunity that the cyclones could have been given they got, and still were not successful. The good news is, atleast you don't need to worry about being moved to 7A next season.

All.... So now we have to wordsmith what was an intentional act to the head of a human being which could cause harm if that foot gets inside the helmet. Sigh.... Accident. Sure ok if you say so. (lol) If you mean by "every opportunity the Cyclones could of been given" playing football, I agree. Any other implication by your statement is nothing else but deflection of an obvious act by a Roadrunner player that should not be tolerated. Ratsy

Cornerrat,

I've acknowledged your claim, how about you take a stab at an explaination for the clock and the cyclone's staff attempts to alter the outcome of the game, vis a vis the clock and the play cards. Let's just say the cyclone players weren't exactly princely during the game either.

I'm a long time SHG fan. I went to the game and sat among the NAZ fans. I thought both sides played hard and that the better team won. The NAZ faithful around me were passionate about their team, but really good fans that were friendly and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed them.
The team was big and fast. Easily the best team SHG has seen since PR in the championship game 2016. There are a handful of skill players that are very gifted and two or three linemen that are sure thing college players.

Best of luck to Nazareth Academy and their fans going forward.

All.... No there is no picture. the refs control the clock from start to finish on the field. They can add or subtract time during the game if they want to and it is warranted. Continue to deflect all you want about any issues YOU feel weren't right by SHG. This is not about that although your are trying hard to make it so. It's as simple as that. Ratsy P.S. Maybe it was an ankle spasm that caused that kick to the helmet. /S

Ok we get it..and you can think what you want- have at it cornermouse! Good luck to the program...I’d ask my Naz brethren to leave this fella to his hidden boards and ill feelings! None of them matter...we are who we are—“Just Another Team in the State”...headed to a tough Providence opponent.

Prowler,

I'd have to agree, but you know me and my need to call an *** an ***. I will say this, if I get my hands on those pictures I will post them in a heart beat. What I don't like is to have our program or our kids cast as dirty when there's no cause for it. I may not live in the area any longer but I still have an attachment to the program.

All..... Brilliant use of language sir. Top notch debating skills. Have you read my previous posts? I'm on record saying keeping the playcard was wrong and measures should of been tried to get it back. Post all the pictures you want. That still does not elevate to the level of an intentional kick to the helmet and head area possibly causing an injury Ratsy

I was in Happy valley and had both my phone and Myfi in the stadium with me to start watching the game, as I thought the Rutgers game might be a yawner...not so much in the beginning to be honest. After we headed back to the car to wait for my son and a few other players to get back I watched the Naz game on my Ipad(imagine that technology in/on the field...learned that from godfthr). The NFHS feed that startered out was cut at halftime and a duplicate appeared in the 3rd quarter. Godfthr's post is probably most correct at this point. To quote James Franklin, Providence, Providence, Providence!

Jwar-I thought you were at Happy Valley?
You must have one heck of a phone!

Wow I've never thought I'd ever see Rasty be such a sore loser. The stuff I read on here and the shg message board before and after the game are disgusting. Maybe you should go back and talk about how great your team is. And your coach, which by the way who names their field after a current coach? There's probably good reason SHS wouldn't share film with you anyways. They probably had a great experience up at Naz and shared it with them!

All.... You couldn't be more wrong on many accounts. What a surprise./S And since you and some of your fellow ilk continue to poke and persist on this subject (remember I didn't bring it first to this board) for those that would really like to know what went on in that game go to the SHG board and you will find out. Nazareth should of a had another hundred yards in penalties that weren't called. Why will remain a mystery. Ratsy

I thought there was integrity in the Catholic schools. This thread is proving otherwise.
Gentlemen some of your children are probably watching this dumpster fire. A fine example you are sending them into adulthood with.

Both sides see the refs as bad. Go figure. The game is still on NFHS anyone can watch and decide themselves. Good Luck in the offseason
