This is a game I really have been looking forward to see.

Last year LZ had one of the best defenses in the State and Naz one of the best offenses in the State.

Win or lose I think it will help Naz know the level of play that will be needed to do well in the 7a playoffs.

What's your thoughts on this week 2 game??

The Naz defense held Lutheran North to 6 points in Week 1. I'd say they have a pretty good D as well. LZ is another big test for the soph QB.

LZ didn’t overly impress against a tough Fremd team via the final score at least. I’m leaning towards Naz in this game!

Think you have to favor Naz. LZ does not have any superstars on this team, but they seem to just always be so so so well coached. I give the nod to Naz simply based on the hype of each team. I have not seen either team yet - this season, so I think you have to expect a Naz breakout player do do that, just enough to get the victory.

I see a lot of short yardage plays followed by an explosion play.

That said, if you are Naz, you have to stay away from the penalties. They are killers.

LZ can absolutely win this game, but they are going to have to score. Is that obvious? I mean put up 21 or more.

Naz could have pitched a shutout the other night as Lutheran's lone scoring drive was aided by a bad penalty or two, as well as missed tackles.

If Carrillo gets a steady diet of rushes, McCarthy does his thing, and Evans/Love have another strong receiving game, the Naz O will do just fine.

Isn't that how most touch downs are given up?
