I believe they are due to be changed out in the near future. But I agree the broadcast crew should scrap whatever they are using and film it themselves.

It's only the second year in use...there is no plan for swapping them out at this time.

The idea of a live camera operator has been thrown out there. I wouldn't fit in the booth.

Apparently there is a software issue on the NFHS side of things.

My input on video analytics ... usually that software resides on the camera itself (in security applications, there can be external software applied.)

My guess is that the best fix is manual operation of the camera unless you';ve connected the camera to get new software updates.

Thats a terrible excuse. Nazareth has plenty of room on top of the box or even outside the box right where the broadcast team used to sit outside. I'll send you a long enough HDMI cord and film from anywhere you want.
