I know the pelicans had no choice but Zion for PR reason but if I was David griffin ja Morant would of been my guy. I think his ceiling is far higher than zions. Morant is a mix of Westbrook and Lilliard, has the potential to be the best pg in the league in a few years.
I love Hunters game. Unleashed from VAs offense (which he shined in), he will display an even more dymanic offensive skill set.
the way he is hyped i think the media can put enough pressure on the league to put him in a winning situation. for real. and not have to deal with the natural progression like everyone else. simply put, the dude is probably going to be a billionaire and the nba is going to use that exposure. he’s been getting special treatment since the opening game last year. if he gets the viewers tuning and all that no one is going to stop him from being put in a favorable position. especially the league. i don’t expect he will be held accountable for much of anything. he plays hard and you can just see the dollar signs if he stays healthy.
