What about that looked scripted?

There's nothing fake about having trouble beating the Heat twice in a row. Wade and LeBron were bound to do this eventually.

but their effort was piss poor.

Well, the San Antonio Spurs have been in the Finals five times in 14 years and the team from the NBA's biggest market (Knicks) hasn't done **** since the mid 90s. There's a start.

I've been on a lot of basketball teams, and we could have played the same team every night for 10 days straight and you would never have a 50 point swing in the opposite direction in a TEN game stretch, much less a two game stretch.

I wouldn't say "scripted", but I wouldn't be surprised if everybody on the team got a per game bonus check if they drug it out to 6 or 7 games. No way you lose by 40 one night in San Antonio, and then come back to the same court against the same team two nights later and win by 15. That part definitely makes it questionable in my mind. But I'm not a NBA fan either. I just pull for the Grizz in the playoffs to give me something to keep up with.
