So crazy knicks are down 3-1 when it should be the opposite. Spurs gave two of these games away. Assuming it's not scripted..

Wemby doing a little 2 much talking and forgetting this is America. We can play dirty also. Way to emotional after the conference finals and talking way 2 much being down in the finals
I liked humble Wemby. I think the media handed him the keys 2 early and it's gotten to his head as much as he was saying he's in the knicks head. Glad to see Robinson give him a elbow to the face. This is America son.

I don’t think anyone predicted OG Anunoby to be the finals MVP, but that’s who my pick would probably be based on what we know right now.

How in the world was that a foul on KAT fo start the game? I mean that totally set the tone because he picked up the fastest 2 fouls since 1998 and had to go to the bench for most kf the 1st half, paving the way for Wemby to have a great 1st half.
I'm not biased. Just up thirty at half then give the game away? Last possession of the game and throw it off your teammates back? To be NBA players they sure do some Suspicious things. How is fox that bad? He dribbles the ball off his foot every other possession. He is a fringe all star player I thought
I say this not giving two craps who wins. Just feel like San Antonio has gave it away. They seem to be the better team by far but having to play down for the script.
Well I think part of it is their inexperience. And for as bad as the Knicks were shooting, they dont make a lot of mistakes.
You can see the Spurs getting better and that they arent even close to their ceiling yet. But right now, its a lot of 20 and 21 year olds who have never been in a finals, or even a playoffs.

This Knicks team isn’t soft though. They play with heart and have been all year.

They still want the revenue though. Plus they might figure to have the Knicks win the whole thing at home for game 6.

I was gonna say, id throw the mortgage at the Spurs in game 5. If we thought these last few games were bad, game 5 is going to be absurd.
Definitely game 5 just mean overall if the Knicks don’t win and they screw them ala Sacremento/LA.
If I didnt have a young kid, id honestly try and get down to NYC for game 6 if it happens. Just to be at one of the watch parties or a bar somewhere.

I really don't hate the Spurs, although they might be one of the luckiest teams, of any sport, when it comes to the draft.
KAT getting TWO bogus fouls, in just over 1 minute, where one actually took away a foul on Wemby, forcing the Knicks to bench KAT, trumps anything the spurs might have gotten their way. And #2 was what should have been a flagrant on wemby for palming a players head.

If he makes that shot from out there you just go to the other end(technically you call TO, design a play, and take the ball out at HC)
Mitch Johnson is the reason the Spurs lost. He was just along for the ride in the 2nd half it seemed.
I still think the Celeb row is awesome, regardless of who is there. Obviously theres the real Knicks celebs and then all the band wagon ones. But it was hilarious to see Alvarado land on none other than ex-mayor Michael Bloomberg, with Derek Jeter sitting next to him.

The lesson in all this is that Mitch Johnson is a horrendous coach. He was terrible on so many levels, would rather not start the list. A young team like this needs a coach they can trust.
You can't move on him because he's young and new, but you'd hate this buffoon to be the reason the Spurs lose a championship because at this point, I'd say he's the primary issue.

But I must say the notion that the League has it in for the Knicks …it’s largest market and national media center franchise that it’s looong been desperate to see return to prominence …might be the funniest paranoid theory he’s floated yet.
I never said the league had it in for the Knicks. I said they want to see all of their playoff series go the distance. And the only way to do that, is to slow down the better team. When the Spurs aren't shooting 3 or 4x the free throws in a given stretch, the Knicks are almost always outscoring them. Last night in the first half was actually the first time to me, that the Knicks just weren't competitive.. but that was largely due to Kat having 2 fouls in a minute.
I'm glad you keep such close tabs on me though lol.
The Spurs have gotten a way better whistle. Wemby should be suspended but apparently grabbing someone's head and slamming them to the ground isn't even a common foul.
