Yeah, but you do so by saying things like “He’s a bad man” and suggesting he’s the final piece to make OKC a “dynasty.”

I’m just curious what that’s based on. Seems rather over the top for someone who’s never played a game who was drafted where he was in one of the weakest drafts ever.
I’ve seen him play. And I said that one time. Maybe it’s hyperbole?

I don’t get why it bothers you.

But you do you.

If he bombs next year you can remind me of it.

But OKC is a dynasty in the making.

He’s another piece to an already great team.

Not worse than Rudy freaking Gobert. God what were they thinking. They traded like 5 first round picks and 4 second round picks to get the most overpaid contract in the league. Dude has 2 points and 5 rebounds in an elimination game. GTFOH.
Consideration for the worse trade ever ?? Gobert is terrible in almost every game in the playoffs except 1, where he had 20+ points and rebounds

Depends on the trade. For example, would he trade 3 first-round picks and Chet for Giannis?
If I am OKC, from what I am watching no way do I make that trade- they don't need Giannis and Holmgren is a very important piece for them the way they play

What do the Spurs have to do with it?

And your repeated hyping of Topic seems a bit odd to me. A 12th pick (in a draft where Reed Sheppard was picked 3rd) who’s not yet done anything other than get injured doesn’t exactly scream difference-maker.
I don’t even know who Topic is lmfao.

More than anything, the NBA just doesn't want a series to end 4-1. Not that they wouldn't love NY being in the finals, and I wouldn't put it past the NBA to move some franchises around (just look at the NBA draft)..

Hope the Knicks can extend it tonight. And hope KAT doesn't pick up a couple of his usual stupid fouls and put himself on the bench. A Game 7 at MSG would be awesome, although it's hard to picture either of these teams giving OKC much of a fight.

Pacers match styles with OKC much better. Not saying they can beat OKC, but the series would probably be more fun. I probably won't watch much if it's the Knicks. I can't handle much more of Brunson turning into a RB, stiff arming people, giving himself whiplash, flailing and falling down. Dude is too talented for that crap. Play basketball.

I’m not saying Shai does the same thing you said Brunson does but everyone else is saying that so if it was NY and OKC that would be a terrible game lol.

I feel like Brunson is a lot worse. He's a heck of a player no doubt but some of the stuff he does is just nuts. There was one play earlier in the series where he grabbed the Pacers' player's arm and flicked it up and hit himself in the face with it trying to draw a foul. LOL Doesn't get more absurd than that.

Superstars feel like they're entitled to EVERY call and they play like they expect to get it. Luka and Jokic are two of my favorite players and it's maddening to watch them flail their arms up in the air every time they're touched. But that's where we're at in the NBA. It's one of my few gripes with the pro game.

The GOAT Kevin Harlan on the call tonight. 🔥

Indy just got mauled on two possessions in a row with no call.

He’s a bad MF but I feel like he hurts the team sometime because they rely on him so much but you are right the flailing and stuff they do to draw fouls is terrible, the leg kick is the worst.

Hell of a quick run by the Knicks, but man the Pacers fast break is nasty fast. They get a rebound and throw it up the court so fast.

Indiana is basically reaching and fouling every play. Who couldn't win being able to hack like this?

I think the Knicks are running out of gas. And Brunson is just sloppy. Another game of over dribbling, and not taking care of the ball.

Mark Pope needs to take notice, you might as well play this crazy hold and hack defense as long as the refs are going to allow it.
There is 0 reason not 2, we have a deep team just keep fresh legs in and be up in their grill every play.
Most teams are playing this way now in college so why not.

Good, that was a basketball play. What terrible transition by NYC there, leads to a Pacers bucket. Great 3rd quarter by the Pacers.

Even IF the Knicks could pull this off.. I just dont trust them in game 7. Brunson scares me. I knoe hes had some 30/40pt games but thr Knicks often look better when he doesn't have the ball in his hands.

Maybe Indiana just sort of lives in his head from last years series?

The real killer here is Toppin is just burying this game the last few minutes after being drafted by the Knicks during their crap years haha.

Going to be a tough matchup for the pacers. Okc is basically a much better version of the same team.
True but the Pacers stand a better shot than the Knicks would have. Pacers love running just like OKC does. They will put up a lot of points too.

But OKC has the best player on the court in SGA and that will probably be the difference. IF the Pacers steal at least one of the first 2 games though...could get interesting.

But OKC in 6 is my guess right now.

Gotta give credit to the Pacers for some excellent team basketball in making the Finals this year. Impressive.

That said, I'm sticking with Oklahoma City & MVP SGA in 6.

Should be entertaining to watch !
