So this might sound crazy, but that’s not a bad solution. Nobody makes any statement... kneeling, not kneeling... takes all the pressure and spotlight off of the players.

And I would watch girls play ball a thousand times before I watched baseball:). Fun to play, boring to watch:)
you have confused the WNBA with women's volleyball...fun to watch

working in sports sucks. I did it for almost 3 seasons in minor league baseball. Met a lot of fun people, moved around the country but the pay and hours were bad. I will never go back
I’ll work a game at the nearby colleges if they need the help and it fits my schedule. I didn’t dislike the job as a whole, just couldn’t stand doing it 60 hours a week anymore. Working a game here and there for $50 per is fun. I should be able to work a bunch of games this spring since the local D3s are postponing all sports to January 1

All around, this is one of the worst posts I've read here, and that's saying a lot. In what world is walking out on the national anthem a good idea by any stretch? How is walking out on your country's anthem not making a statement?? Secondly, the WNBA is literally the worst 'major sport' out there.

Sounds liek Davis will play.

Excited about Lakers versus Clippers. For most part, because no **** team is invited, all these match up should be interesting.

CNN Gives NBA Commissioner a Pass on Bombshell China Abuse Scandal

https://freebeacon.com/media/cnn-gives-nba-commissioner-a-pass-on-bombshell-china-abuse-scandal/

Blitzer did not bring up the NBA's relationship with the Chinese government once during the lengthy interview, nor did he tell viewers about CNN parent company WarnerMedia's partnership with the NBA.

The region of Xinjiang is noteworthy for its concentration camps reportedly containing one million Uyghurs, a historically Muslim ethnic minority in China. Drone footage taken within the region has shown hundreds of blindfolded and chained Uyghurs being loaded onto trains.

The NBA is connected to CNN through Turner Sports, a subsidiary of WarnerMedia that operates NBA TV.

Who you got for first game?
My bad I didn’t see this I probably would’ve had the pelicans just because Bogdanovic is out but the Jazz proved me wrong. That game was fun. This next game I have the Lakers. Clippers would have been my preseason pick for the title but those dudes can’t even keep eachother from leaving the bubble to go to strip clubs so I don’t think they have it now.

Love watching zion take it up the tail pipe. Nba rigging it to get zion into playoffs was disgusting. Memphia deserves the spot if they are 1 game ahead. This 4 games ahead requirement is bogus.

The west was too close to just keep the playoff team the playoffs teams and I think they want Portland in it just as much as Nawlins. But Memphis has played well all year and deserves that spot for sure.

Surprised to see Lebron keeping his name/brand intact on his jersey. I thought if anyone would have changed his jersey, it would have been him.

..everyone wants to see a change, just not on their own time.

Morant is, rightfully, not happy about it either. This might be the most fixed thing in the NBA since the Sacramento/LA series. I fully expect the NBA to do their best to get Zion in there. And while not a huge deal, id rather not have Zion in any sort of spotlight as long as Coach K is still at Duke..

They all suck. Kneeling like a bunch of spoiled, overpaid, rich, A-Holes !
The NBA DIED LAST NIGHT !
We really can’t even have a thread talking about what we want without this inbred hillibilly bs hijacking the thread. I don’t care if you don’t like the nba. Your opinion is irrelevant. I don’t care about politics or what your opinion of it is. I want to watch basketball and many of us in here do. Take that dumb bs to the paddock political thread and complain to them.

That was a tough loss for the Pelicans last night . They were up 8 damn near the entire game . Ingram should have passed it to JJ At the end .

I think the Lakers hope that the Grizz hold on to the 8th spot . Portland could be a very tough series

I do like the game.
I played in high school.
It's been my game my adult life.

However, when the nba bowed down to china and refused to call out human rights violations there, and now attempts to lecture us on "human rights violations" here in the States....no, sir. You kneel during the National Anthem and attempt to disrespect the very flag that provides your freedom of speech, the ability to earn the exhorbitant income nba players earn, etc......no, sir.

I will not support that organization.

Well Said. I will not support that it either. The disrespect for this country, the National Anthem and our flag disgusts me, and I'm ashamed to see former Kentucky players, who I've been a fan of, participating in this.

I’m not a Lakers fan. Stuck between wanting them to flame out and wanting Rondo and AD go get rings.:)

I’d like for those two to get a ring especially AD since Rondo already has one .

I have the clippers winning it all since they are deeper than the Lakers . Lakers gonna need for Kuzma and Dion Waiters to play great for them to win . Last night they did that .

A lot of people may not like him because he kind of took the bag and went to Washington but I’m a big Fultz fan because he was in Philly and the organization messed him up and tried to rush him onto the court with nerve damage and other things going on. I felt bad for him the entire time because I know like Kentucky fans Philly fans are sometimes overbearing and over critical (but I think I also love that part of it) but he’s apparently fixed his jumper and it looked smoother last game and now he has a second chance. I’m really rooting for him tonight.
