Man, Ja is going to be special. If Zion is healthy he still probably wins ROY, but I think it’s fair to question if he will ever be healthy carrying as much weight as he is now. Ja gives me DRose flashbacks with how he Holland’s though, so I hope he cleans that up.

I don’t know how anyone could have watched these last few Portland games and still say the NBA sucks. They’ve been playing with so much heart and I have no clue how Nurkic gutted out a monster performance today. LA has no good matchup with Dame or CJ. I think there’s a reasonable chance for an upset

LA hasn’t looked that good in the bubble but have a feeling they step up and take care of Portland rather easily.

Hard for me to see it happening easily . Portland is the one team where LA doesn’t have a big difference in size advantage . Then you throw in the Dame and CJ backcourt and it could get tricky .

Portland was the temporary media darling, that's about to play the real media darling. The free throw disparity is going to look a heck of a lot different than it did today.

Ad and lebron should get a ton of free throws. As should uk every season. The better teams and better players should get to the line more.

Start of the playoffs is timed perfectly for my first day of unemployment after basically everyone at the company but the two co-owners got laid off.

I am sorry to hear about your job. I know that doesn’t help but I hope you bounce back and find a new job. It’s a weird time we are living in. I assume you’re a Boston fan? So good news is Marcus Smart will turn into some version of Steph Curry and Gary Payton combined tonight and the Sixers will once again look like an incompetent basketball team.

I at beat tolerated the job and most times hated or disliked it. I had been wanting to get out so at least I am free from that now even though it’s not necessarily the circumstances I wanted. It was advertised and presented to me in interview as having job responsibilities abcxyz when in reality it only ended up being yz. I never would have even applied had it been just yz. And I just felt like I never fit in there in the first place when all seemingly anyone wanted to talk about was spouses and kids, which I have none of and don’t really care to hear about all the time.

Yes I like all the Boston pro teams. Contrary to the apparent popular belief on here, I am not from Boston though.

Well at least you’re looking at it from that perspective. Yea it’s easy to hate Boston in general lol. But I respect the fans for the most part.

hopefully, nuggets wipe the floor with Jazz. but, Nuggets in 6.
Raptors will sweep.
Celtics should win in 5, I think.
Clippers in 5.

Sounds like Murray and Mitchell had a hell of a duel. Shame that they had the best matchup of the day as the afternoon game on a work day. I’ll have to catch the highlights when I get home

Was talking with those same friends.. The Knicks could have drafted so many Kentucky players over the years.. guys like Hami, Bam, SGA, Herro.. or even through trades where they moved up.

And the one Kentucky guy they draft? Knox.. who might be one of the only busts under John Calipari..

I've been one of his bigger defenders.. but Lebron James talking, now, when Carmelo is having a resurgence, about the time that HE "SAVED" HIM FROM A BAHAMAS BOAT TRIP!? SERIOUSLY?!

This guy's ego is off the charts.

"I just knew that he was not back in the boat with the rest of us, so I went out looking for him," James said Monday on a video conference call. "And through the grace of God and through strength and not being afraid of the water, I was able to help him back to the boat. It was the only thing that was on my mind at that point and time, was getting my brother back to the boat."

Ugh, go away. Looking forward to an NBA season when his **** is gone.

That was much more of a "protect our top teams" than being soft. Or just a bad mistake. But i can tell you this.. no star on a true contender is getting tossed there. Dallas just got boned.

yeah maybe but I’ve watched enough games in this bubble to say that the nba is soft. Lot of dudes flopping out there, accidental contact goes for technicals, etc...it’s basically become soccer on hardwood

The KP ejection sucked. Dallas had back-to-back fast break attempts at 106-102 Clippers, and Hardaway made a bad turnover then Curry took a bad shot. Ballgame. Luka was letting Curry know he didn't like it it looked like to me.
