Should just get rid of the anthem before games anyways. As well as all these government-paid recognitions for the armed forces and police. Our tax dollars should be spent paying for that **** when there are essential things that need to be paid for.

I'm glad somebody around here gets it. There's nothing conservative with the constant worshiping of the state.

I feel this so much. People complain about all the money the government wastes. There are much better ways to spend that tax money than to use it on fan servicing.

Anyways, back to basketball.

Herro didn't seem like he could make a basket tonight, but man, he hustled anyways. Getting rebounds and flying around the court. No one could defend Bam on the Pick and Roll either. Great game tonight.

Heat have been playing and have had a ton of success playing zone this postseason. No excuse for Cal to not play zone now
legler said this was the first game they tried it in the playoffs after using fairly regularly during the season. it’s a change of pace thing and it had an effect. not sure if the celtics don’t torch them from 3 if they knew they’d see zone the whole series but it definitely confused them in the second half of this one.

Legler has a HUGE fan club on social media. Main theme: put him on at a decent hour so more folks can appreciate what he brings to the table.

Look for LeBron to make a statement tonight whether he was snubbed or not hes a warrior and will be ready to show the world hes the MVP. Giannis is good but hes not the one everyone tuned in to watch its LeBron. Lakers in a rout.

Look, I’m not a big LeBron fan. I don’t like him so much. But I believe he is the best player in the league. If he wants to dominate a game scoring, he will do it. Assists, he will do it. Rebounding, he will do it. Defense, he will do it. All, he will probably do it. Dude is just a beast.

Giannis tweeted a pic of himself reading the NYT with him being named MVP then somebody photoshopped it. 🙃

Defensive rating: 102.9 (1st)

As much as I like LeBron, Giannis put up better numbers with less talent around him, so I think he deserves the MVP over LeBron. They both had insane seasons, though.

Right now, LeBron looks like he's going to be playing at an elite level going into his 40s. If he can, he's going to finish his career first in points (top five in PPG), first in games and minutes played, first in win shares, in the top two or three in assists, top ten in steals, top two in box +-, and in the top two or three in career PER, with 20+ All-NBA first/second/third teams and maybe 20 All-Star game appearances. And he might reach 100 triple-doubles, which only four other players have done (can you name the four?).

With a few more rings I can't see how anyone can still call Jordan the GOAT.

Believe it or not.. It's not a horrible take for back in 2017... My issue is, why is it even a topic? A college's prop prospects across sports? Has he really surveryed the entire landscape?

Regardless, a lot has changed since 2017. As it turns out, being drafted in the top3 throws a lot more hurdles at you than being drafted in the teens or 20's.

Duke is now the one in question. Where Giles? Where's Okafor? WHere's Jabari Parker? Where's Tyus and Winslow? How's RJ doing on the Knicks? Gary Trent Jr, FINALLY became a role player for Portland? Where's Singler? Where's Ryan Kelly? Where's Duval? Where's Bagley? Where's Carter? Austin Rivers? Houston's 7th best player. Kyrie? The league's biggest team cancer. How about Grayson Allen?

It's literally Tatum, Ingram and Detroits 3rd or 4th best player, Luke Kennard.

Say what you will about AD, Wall, Cousins and KAT. Those guys were still the best players on their respective teams.. THEY still made it happen despite being on bad franchises.
