Heats leading scorer in the playoffs goes out with an injury, before the 1st half is over of game 1. Lakers catching all the breaks.

But, at the same time, Lebron likely has 2 titles before this year if not for GSWs super teams. So if he gets his 4th ring this week. Its deserved either way.

Lebron has only ever won on super teams with 2 other surefire hall of fame players beside him. This year will be the only time he has only one although ad is the best player he has played with. Lebron knows about super teams is all im saying.

Heat have had about 5 shots roll around the rim and come out meanwhile Lakers on fire. Bad combo when you already have zero answers for AD or Bron.

Maybe super teams.. but not the greatest team ever assembled, the record book-breaking Warriors. Jordan wasn't beating those teams. No one was.

So I think if Lebron got to play almost any other team, he probably has another ring, maybe 2.

Fair enough. The funny thing is the 73 win team didn't have Durant and choked to lebron.

So whats odd about that middle series.. that one felt like they handed it to Cleveland. If not for the Draymind suspension Cleveland never would have beaten them. But still, I like Lebrons ring chances in those years against a lot of teams in history.. certainly over any current team in those years.

We're likely looking at #4.. he has a chance to catch Jordan, believe it or not.

For the first time in decades, any fan can afford to "attend" an NBA game and be seen by his friends and family, something that's pretty cool to say you did.

So what does the NBA do? Fill the virtual seats with celebrities and past NBA players.

Good work.

Last 2 finals could be ruined by key injuries

Even if Dragic weren’t injured the Heat would get dominated. Just too many mismatches. LeBron instantly goes pick and roll to force a switch with Herro/Robinson/Dragic on him. As long as the Lakers stay big they have no answer for Davis. And combine that with them making 3s and it’s lights out.

Hey they just wanted it to look like a normal NBA Finals game at Staples Center.

I don’t think the Heat would win either way but I believe it could be competitive if they were healthy .

While our players ball out... One of Duke's best in the NBA making drive-by remarks, defending a teammate he's barely even played with, to spite another one. How petty, and 100% incorrect.

I have a small wager on a Lakers sweep but I still hate that Dragic's out. It's not fair to him or his team, and it sucks. :/

I was gonna make a post yesterday how fortunate the Lakers have been from an injury standpoint in these playoffs. AD and Lebron fully healthy, and they got Rondo back. And I was going to say "man, they're kinda due for someone to get injured".. seeing as how in Dame got injured, House was "injured" (LOL), and Jokic was hobbled...

Sure enough, they got another gift with half of Miami's starters going down.

They've been very fortunate. But I guess every NBA Title winner has some luck..

Dragic and Bam doubtful for game 2.
It’s over as it is because Dragic will be nowhere close to 100% if he does return.

If Bam misses any games, there’s no point in even watching. Will be a blowout form the opening tip. Only way it isn’t is if the Miami shooters are hitting some crazy **** but they won’t do that the whole game.

Still amazes me how big a ***** Lebron is.
I love a lot about what LeBron does, on and off the court, but dude acts like a little ***** when we thinks he's fouled. He will stand there, hands out, and crying to the ref. All while his team is now on defense on the other side of the court. Dude is one of the most dominant players to ever lace them up and he's whining about a no call.

But everyone does that. I don't mean NBA players either. I mean everyone who has played basketball. Whether it's the backyard of a friend's house, in a park pick up, church leagues, or league games... The amount of complaining of a foul is very common.

Also, it's common in every sport... soccer, baseball, football, tennis, etc. etc. (golf not so much, but if they had active calls, i am sure they would have a lot of complaining)

This is mostly because (especially top-level), it is a competitive thing...

Nuggets may have been the 2nd best team in playoffs to be honest. Clips were more talented but had a meltdown obviously

Dragic has the same injury that ultimately ended Danny Ainge’s playing career. He did come back and play some, but was never the same. Really sucks for Dragic. And most people don’t realize he was Miami’s leading scorer in the playoffs, not Bam or Butler. They’re totally screwed without him. And they will certainly not resign him now.

kyrie is trash.

One of the most overrated player in history.

Says a lot of dumb ****. Team Cancer. Etc. Etc.

I'm willing to cut Irving some slack because I don't think he's often capable of realizing how odd his behavior is. My degrees ain't in a medical field, but over the years there's been a lot of speculation that he has some mental health issues. And if he does, considering some of his highly unconventional views on science, I wouldn't be surprised if he refuses to take medication (and it's not like the NBA's going to lift a finger to help him, although the league has recently gotten a little better at addressing the mental health of its players).

In non-finals news: GSW is said to be avoiding Anthony Edward's with the 2nd pick citing questions over his lack of enthusiasm and willingness to win. Lamelo, took himself out of interviews and ended indovidual workouts, or something along those lines.

Yikes.

Honestly, what a crapshoot of a draft.

Not surprised about Edwards. Maybe, maybe he becomes a solid pro but I wouldn’t pick him.
