Lebron has only ever won on super teams with 2 other surefire hall of fame players beside him. This year will be the only time he has only one although ad is the best player he has played with. Lebron knows about super teams is all im saying.
Jordan won with other HoF players and a coach. Magic had Kareem and Worthy when he won. Bird's teams were loaded with talent. Duncan's teams had three HoF players and a coach.
There has rarely been a player that one a championship all on their own. A Team usually needs multiple players with that kind of talent to win a championship.

Full Confession: I underestimated the Heat. (And it cost me $$).
This game easily could have gone their way.
Bam and Tyler are the Real Deal. (Butler + the rest too)

Rooting for the Heat. I bet on them early and have been riding their hot hand. God bless Herro for that last second 3 to cover.

Sports betting aside, Rondo and AD (particularly Rondo) are some of my favorite Cats and NBA players of all-time. But LeBron is unbearable to watch. He whines all game and acts like a royal douche. The Heat are fun to watch, play team basketball, and bring as much effort as they can to grind out wins. The Lakers are going to win and I’ll take solace in 2 cats getting ‘ships.

At this point that’s impossible. The best LeBron and you can hope for is being MJ’s peer in the convo. He’s not even there yet.

I'm beginning to doubt that anybody post-Jordan will ever be considered the GOAT, regardless of talent. Basketball's simply nowhere near as culturally relevant as it was in the '80s and '90s, and to a lot of people, that fact apparently automatically disqualifies number of great players who, in another time and place, might've be lauded as legendary.

The legend of Jordan is already fading. Soon he will be another "generational legend" like Elgin Baylor, Kareem, Dr J, Wilt, Bird, Magic etc. Lebron will own the record books for decades until the next true generational talent takes the reigns

LeBron is a peer of MJ. In my opinion, there's only three players you can call the GOAT, Kareem, MJ and LeBron. They're the only ones with the greatest combination of winning and individual accolades.

LeBron is going to be the all time points leader. He's already top ten in assists and top 40 in rebounds. 4 MVPs and he could have won a few more. He'll have at least four championships on 3 different teams. He went to the title game 8 years in a row with 10 total appearances. There are only two players with more than that.

If you don't think LeBron is a peer of MJ, then maybe you're being bitter rather than objective.

@TM2013 You might have given us one of the worst takes anyone has ever posted on this board.

Wouldn’t mind seeing the heat force game 6. If this was AD vs Bam/Herro I really wouldn’t care who won, but the Lakers have Rondo so I’ve mostly been rooting for them. Still wouldn’t lose sleep over it if the Heat some how come back to win it, but really want Rondo to get another ring to add to his HOF resume.

Rondo's been my favorite player in the league since he set foot in the league. I am kind of biased as I went to Murray State with his brother who was always hyping him up and he turned out to be 100 percent right. Rondo always makes the right play as does Lebron but people critique them for that. Most of the time a pass is absolutely the play that needs to be made.

Not sure what the ratings have anything to do with what he said.

In case you didn't know, TV ratings only indicate the amount of people who watched a show. They don't indicate a players greatness. I hope that clarifies a few things for you.

Maybe you should go read his post to help clarify things. Apparently he believes people will soon forget about Jordan, yet more people would rather tune in to watch a documentary on Jordan than view the live NBA Finals featuring the current best player in the game.

Who cares how many people are watching? I watch shows and sports I like because I like them.

oh let me see if the rest of the country/world is watching this. I just want to make sure everyone else likes it before I decide if I do. Like wtf? Who cares what other people enjoy or don’t enjoy? To each their own
