NBA trivia. Name the players who have gotten a quadruple double.

by now, you've probably heard that last night, chris paul had 33 pts, 10 rbds, 11 asts, and 7 stls. what you may not know is that had he gotten three more steals, he would NOT have been the first NBA player to record the rare quadruple double. can you name the players who have? any guesses?

/hint - there are 4 players, and the NBA began keeping stats for blocks and assists in 1973.

to keep it entertaining for everyone, please don't just look it up and post the answer. at least not for a little while. wikipedia is for cheaters.

I know he AVERAGED a triple-double in at least one NBA season. Wouldn't surprise me if he added a fourth double in just one game.

Am I right with Robinson? I would have guessed 1993 for Robinson but I would like to know.

I think you are right with David Robinson. I am not sure who the rest are though. Maybe Hakeem? Bird? Magic?

I think he played for the Bucks in the late 80's is my guess. Seems like he got one in steals, points, rebounds, and assists.

I somehow vaguely remember that. Would've guessed Olajuwon as well, just because I figure he is the most likely out of the 4 or 5 guys I answer when I'm not sure - Olajuwon, Jordan, Magic, Bird.

since i'm busy at work, when you want the answer, go to wikipedia and search "quadruple double". pretty interesting stuff, including a list of some guys who barely missed it.
