Louisville got Izzo AND Kzychefski (you try spelling it)? Awful draw for the suppsoed #1 overall seed.

The West bracket is a joke and gift wrapped for Gonzaga... however, Ohio State or New Mexico is going to beat them.

Marquette a 3 seed?

Keep your eye on ILL vs Miami in round 2...

Roy Williams vs KU in KC? Intriguing matchup.

SDST vs Michigan in the first round? The committee thought that one through.

I would be nervous as hell if I was Wisconsin. OM was by far and away the best team 'on the bubble'.

How is there a play-in for #11 when California is an at large 12?

Watching the selection show, the chairman said they were on the 11 seed line, but due to making the bracket work they were put as a 12 seed. I'm not sure what all goes into deciding how to form the bracket, but apparently every actual seed is not necessarily that number seed on the actual bracket.

I don't understand that concept either. Shouldn't all the play-in games be for the last teams to get in the tournament that aren't auto-bids?

MSU beating the Bears might have been the best thing to happen to them ...

at that point in the season. Opened their eyes that they could be beat, so they turned it up a little.

Who knows ... we may have beat the eventual national champion ....

My guess for why there are play in games for some 11 & 12 seeds is because when then they increased the field they added more at large bids and not auto bids. (Your 11s and 12s are typically the worst at large teams.) Its essentially making the bubble teams play to goto the 2nd round (or is it the first round?). Personally, I think they should get the 15 and 16 seeds and make them play.

Kennedy out coached Donovan at halftime.

Bringing Buckner out on the guards and then pounding the ball inside on offense was good stuff. Rebs deserved to win and have got some talent. With that said they could easily lose to Wisconsin.

Steve Fisher? Former very successful Michigan coach now at SDST, is what he was referring too I think.

Oh ha, as you can see, I haven't even hardly looked at the bracket. That was the only link I could decipher between Michigan and a SDST.

I got nothing then.

Well, TSUN is on a hot streak.

It's slightly comparable to our match up vs. Washington State. Whiskey's opponent has got a little refuse to lose going. Bad news is they can go off. I don't pretend that I can predict game outcomes, but I do have a feeling that the lower seed will win.

The Zage could get Pitt in the 2nd round. How is that a joke?

It only a joke if you haven't followed both programs this season and you dot realize how well Pitt matches up on paper.

Wisconsin got beat in the big 10 championship game by Ohio st. They beat Michigan and Indiana to get to championship game. Ole miss will have to play very well to win. Don't see it

Ony way the bears win is if somebody gets crazy hot from 3....

Wisconsin has a lot of size and pretty much everybody on their team can shoot. They're boring to watch but they're really hard to beat. They're one of the teams I would never wanna be matched up against

I was definitely ...

I hate myself for it, but I'm picking them to beat Wisconsin.

Impressed with the job AK did in the SECT. Having witnessed previous six years of 'end of year' meltdowns by AK & da bears, I truly thought that the loss to State was the beginning of year 7 slide. AK showed some good adjustments in the second half of all games. State may have been the 'trigger' that finally motivated this team.

Wisconsin is a tough 'first' draw. Big 10 is more 'power' inside game and Bo Ryan has done a good job over the last couple of years. Am thinking that Wisc experience will win out over OM momentum but should be a good game to watch.

Meanwhile, if Missouri does manage to get by Colorado St, they then face Louisville. Ouch.

Florida is a streaky team with a lot of shooters but yesterday's performance showed that they have some definite holes.
