Yeah kind of fell apart. Up 12 or 14 at one point and then basically stopped getting anything. Credit to Florida but the refs also had a huge effect on the momentum in this game, both waysHouston with dumb play after dumb play the last 5:00. Terrible shots, missed FTs, TOs….this one will make them sick for a long time
I did. I was asking if they’d swallow the whistle at the end after the whistlefest of the second half.you need to watch the first half.
Looks like the Duke-dust rubbed off on the Cougars on Saturday.Houston with dumb play after dumb play the last 5:00. Terrible shots, missed FTs, TOs….this one will make them sick for a long time
He’d like your number. ( I kid)Guy can send as many dick pics now as he wants.
Hop to the NBA and be the next Brad Stevens? An awful ending to a terrible title game.
Now let's hope Golden moves on to greener pastures.
There's an entirely different league where they pay the coaches and players way more.I'd rather have him stay at Florida than go to UCLA, UNCheat or dUKe, or even Indiana somehow.
I think he will stay where the college girls areHop to the NBA and be the next Brad Stevens?
And Hump wasn’t angry He was excited. Worst call ever at least against UKExcept Humphries caught his, shouldn't have been a tech...Pat Adams
Golden says free dick pics for everyone!!!!
Houston really played stupid last 6 minutes.
I can’t stand Golden. Guy is creepy. I sense there is something off with him. Good coach though.
Florida is kind of like the somewhat retarded cousin that you don't mind winning every once in awhile. You've got to hear it from him every once in awhile at the Thanksgiving table, but other than that he's pretty harmless.I hate seeing Florida win, but it’s better than Duke, Kansas, Tennessee, Louisville, Arkansas, North Carolina or UConn winning it. All in all, the 2025 college basketball season was a lot of fun!
I'm not sure what Fla Auburn and Bama have anything to do with our season.
I think most fans expected what we got this season. A Sweet 16 in Pope's first year isn't bad. Regardless of what other SEC teams did.
I'd take thatThere's an entirely different league where they pay the coaches and players way more.
Maybe they'll give him a look?
YesDid we win the 98 title in San Antonio?
It'll be very interesting to see how his team looks without that core of older guys. Can Golden keep it up?Golden caught lightning in a bottle.
He would do well to go to the pros while he's still playing with house money.
Would've been fitting for the game to end with foul shotsIf he had of given a head fake then jumped into Clayton shooting the three, I don’t see how Clayton could have kept from fouling.
No 96 I believe.Did we win the 98 title in San Antonio?
96 was meadowlands.No 96 I believe.
That was in The Meadowlands. No 96 I believe.
Yep. You know once Sampson sees that later he's going to be pissed. That missed goal tend really came back to haunt Houston. 5 point swing there.
Or just pump fake and let Clayton fly by then shoot it. Or just double clutch and throw something up so you've got a chance for a rebound, or attempt a pass to another player, or shoot the ball and make him make the block without fouling. You know, any number of things aside from just drop the ball in front of you.If he had of given a head fake then jumped into Clayton shooting the three, I don’t see how Clayton could have kept from fouling.
In the entire history of college basketball, only three times has a coach won a national title and then left for another university. It’s happened to us twice. An awful ending to a terrible title game.
Now let's hope Golden moves on to greener pastures.
No one else thinking about that missed goal tend?
In 1983, Houston comes up one play short of a title. 42 years later they make it back to the championship game and comes up one play short of a title. If Houston makes it to the title game in 2067, you know how to bet.
Those 3 fouls in 9 seconds started a whistle fest that ruined the 2nd half IMO.Yeah kind of fell apart. Up 12 or 14 at one point and then basically stopped getting anything. Credit to Florida but the refs also had a huge affect on the momentum in this game, both ways
