Now they are going to go whistle happy , gawd I hate refs
Pretty easy to do when you can’t foul until the officials call a bunch of quick-hitters on UF and then have to get a few on Houston to make it look “fair”. Damage has already been done and momentum has completely changed.Houston is in Floridas jock, no team has put the clamps on Florida like Houston has.
How the hell does Ron Groover make it?Pope's buddy Oglesby calling this one. How in the world does this clown make the championship game?!
I wish that was true, but Florida still has Walter Clayton. He can score points quickly. He's not going down quietly in this game.given houston’s style, it’s all but academic now,
Throwing passes to people who don’t existGeeze…. Clayton Jr looks like he put money on Houston to cover.
I love the intentional misspelling. Great comment.basically that's the only offense UF has........when they get condom down low ...........swear he's had about 4 or 5 of those lol.
Throwing passes to people who don’t exist
he’s not even looking for his shot. he just threw one out of bounds on a clear drive opportunity. it’s their style game. they’ll have to chip away or hope to get into transition. no doubt clayton will start forcing things if things don’t get stabilized.I wish that was true, but Florida still has Walter Clayton. No. Shooting foot slightly ahead of the other foot and both feet turned to approximately 11:00 for righties and 1:00 for lefties.Do coaches still teach shooters to have their feet directly below their shoulders on a jumper? Nearly every 3pt shot I’ve seen, the shooters have one foot in front of the other.
They aren’t gonna call a big bunch of fouls in the national championship game. Let’s be real, no casual wants to watch a free throw contest. They want the best product on the court tonight. That means less foul callsThis appears similar to playing a full court press team. The aggressive team gets rewarded because the refs don't typically call a foul every possession (even though they could by the book). As such, pressing teams get away with a lot of bumps and hacks that teams with normal pace and defense do not.
I would be shocked if Florida doesn't make a run.I’m still expecting a Clayton Jr flurry at some point, but I just think Houston is the better team. Just a reminder Florida has two NCAA titles and Golden is less than 40 years old. Houston has won zero. If anyone is on the fence, cheering for the Cougs should be a no brainer
There's 15 minutes left. This is the same kid who scored 20 points in one half against Auburn.he’s not even looking for his shot. he just threw one out of bounds on a clear drive opportunity. it’s their style game. they’ll have to chip away or hope to get into transition. no doubt clayton will start forcing things if things don’t get stabilized.
Exactly what I predicted. Don’t tell me that they don’t predetermine how they’re going to call it.Now they are going to go whistle happy , gawd I hate refs
i know. i’m preferring florida to win in fact. There's 15 minutes left. This is the same kid who scored 20 points in one half against Auburn.
I can’t tell if Golden looks like a bully or someone who gets bullied. Somehow he looks like both.I would be shocked if Florida doesn't make a run.
But yeah, I'd rather Houston win. Florida’s coach is a terd.
