The South Florida stuff and Willie Lyles stuff is all pending... Today's sanctions are from another self-reported incident from a few years ago.
If and when the South Florida/Willie Lyles stuff comes out... if there's any infractions found, it could get ugly for LSU.

Also if they get busted for Lyles it will not go under the 5 year window and make them a repeat violator. They self reported all of this a while back.</p>

that repeat offender applies only to any NCAA investigations that are initiated AFTER the date these penalties were announced. My understanding is that the Lyles stuff has been under investigation for some time, so I don't think LUS would get repeat offender for infractions surrounding Lyles.
