I wish there was a thumbs down option to do on all posts related to AJ.
Would be extremely shocked if they were to bring AJ back.

No excitement for being listed as top 8 for a guy we probably didn’t even ask to come here?
Anyone else get the feeling that at least a few of these “top 8” for AJ are him just throwing some big names out there to boost his announcement?
I prefer he goes somewhere that either comes to GIA for a dual or goes to National Duals in Tulsa. AJ is fun to cheer against and is good for selling tickets/commercials.

What makes you think we are? Our situation rebuilding this roster is not the same as it will be in 2027 or 2028.
100% agree with this. Recruit in blue chip high schoolers and develop them, and you do not have to count on the transfer portal as much!
I see 1 or 2 max starters being added via the portal Two or three years from now.

The game has changed. When the team we are trying to take down is throwing up 10 All-Americans, almost all of whom are capable of winning a title, we have to be excellent in HS recruiting, development, retention, and transfer portal.
I’m pretty sure it’s UNC. Wrestlestat has already edited AJ’s profile to say that. I would kind of like to see him at OU tho. It might breathe some life into a dying program and it’d be fun for Bedlam too.
That's it. Have to be perfect in every aspect to win a title in this day and age. Every position has to have an AA contender and you have to have multiple title contenders to have a chance to win a Team Title.
As I have said, our band wagon is big and all are welcome…especially those wrestling for us
I don't know about Figueroa. Yes, he has national champion talent. Yes, he will be wrestling up a weight class that he is better suited for. But he didn't even AA last year. He looked tired, underfed, and burnt out. What makes us think DT can make magic with a guy like that???
Iowa has been working on him for whole last season. Now put on the screws since they missed out on AJ.

Iowa needs a 197 for a year. Will be surprised if Rocky ends up anywhere else. 197 is their last real hole, they're going to be stout next year
AJ Ferrari announced he's going to North Carolina on FRL. Official. Unsure of what weight class. Said he's walking around at 225 currently.

Incredibly he actually announced he was going to Penn St. as a heavy weight and after he was asked if this was true by CP said his official announcement was that he was going to North Carolina but would not say definitively at what weight but said he was weighing about 225 at the moment. I do not believe he was ever offered by Penn State or us. I just know we dodged a large bullet so I am happy for North Carolina.
I don’t think anyone is smoking a healthy Elam. Last year he beat Buchanan, Cardenas, Novak, and Beard. Caveat being he’s 100% healthy.
Right - he's very good. That's why I was wondering if he could get big enough for a HWT class that will be really cleared out next year. He's pretty tall right?
