Nebby will be good, very good.
Nebraska is returning most of their 2nd place team as well.
Nebraska is going to be interesting. They should be awesome no doubt but points wise it is hard for them to do better. That was basically a max out performance. It was an all-timer.
They lost two AA's, one being a champ and that is it.
I have expected to see them snag a 25 and 49 in the portal, but nothing yet. They really like their 25 sophomore but seem thin at 49. Obviously heavy is an issue, and there aren't any out there.
Nebraska should be awesome. Not arguing they won't be. They very well might run away with the 2nd. My only point is that they could be awesome and still not score as many points. They wrestled out of their minds at NCAAs. They don't have a ton of room to grow their point total.
There’s rumors that Oregon States 149 pounder Ethan Stiles is interested in transferring back there.
I bet in this new era a lot of young wrestlers will transfer away from and back to the premier programs when the spot held by a stud wrestler is vacant.
I don’t think anyone is smoking a healthy Elam. Last year he beat Buchanan, Cardenas, Novak, and Beard. Caveat being he’s 100% healthy.
Let’s not forget Nebraska. They lose some, but they’ll be tough

OU just picked up Brian Soldano from Rutgers. Kind of an interesting pickup because they already have Deanthony Parker at Soldano’s and Parker ended up being their best wrestler last year. I wonder if Soldano cuts to 174 or redshirts?
Interesting fact (to me)….Ryder beat them both during his redshirt season.
I'd be happy to see OU get more competitive and get more people interested in wrestling in the state. Too bad they didn't get AJ

Elam to ISU. They’ll probably be our biggest threat at Big 12s next year.
If Facundo and AJ went to ISU, I would have been more worried about them. But with only Elam, Paniro, AE, Frost brothers and Bastida as real top threats, I dont think they win the big 12. It will be close though.
I think we’ll win too. But UNI loses a bunch and Mizzou might be worse than last year. So ISU and maybe SDSU are the only teams I see giving us a run.

Almost no way this is true, but if it is it’s that athletic programs biggest waste of money this academic year. And that’s for a program that extended Hubert Davis and hired Bill Belichick
