If we only had a damn Offense and somebody with a brain to run it. Damn we could have been great last year. Hell we could this year but not as long as Croom and Woody is running the show.

and someone showed me these numbers, I'd understand why I was being let go/reassigned.

Seriously, something has to give. I'd be interested in seeing how Croom does with a decent offensive coordinator. I mean, how does one look at this and think anything except for the defense is heading in the right direction.

With a top 50 offense we are 3-0, 1-0, and we probably win 10 last year.

It's just so freaking frusterating. If I'm Byrne I tell Croom that Woody has to go. If Croom says he goes as well, I tell him good luck and be gone. We use our new SEC welfare check a bit differently for a couple of years. There are too many up and coming coordinators/small college head coaches that would absolutely jump at the chance to be in our booth for us to be holding on to Woody freaking McCorvey.

I think this nonconference game is a nice test. Our defense will have its hands full with a strange offensive scheme, but Georgia Tech's defense blows. It may be one of the worst two that we will face from here out. Any other SEC team would put up at least 21 on them. We ought to be looking at 4-0, instead we're probably going to be 1-3 heading to the land of Corndogs. And guess what boys, Vandymania has kicked in up here. They could be 5-0 coming to Starkville.
