Here's my positive spin on my negative outlook on this. Lets assume that nothing ever comes out of the Camgate scandal. Auburn hired Gene Chizik, with a 5-19 (?) record from ISU. Helen Keller could see that they bought Cam, so it's not like they have the second coming of Orgeron and his recruiting prowess. But how can they seriously fire this guy in two years when he's 5-19 during that two year span after possibly going 14-0?
I'm thinking that they'd be better off, in the long run, with the Walrus coaching them.
