They were freshman and came up small in a big spot. In fairness, given time they will become pretty good.
Purdue goes undefeated in non conference play beating Marquette, West Virginia, Gonzaga and Duke, but once they lose in the tournament everyone comes out to say they knew Purdue and the Big Ten sucked all along.
Coach was probably feeding the team chocolate caffeine and energy drinks because that's what he sounds like he's doing. Maybe some Adderall as well

Was sure Purdue wasnt going to make it past the 2nd round but didnt think FDU would dump them. If you make Purdue 1 dimensional they are not good. Take away the 3's
True. ..but if they played any of them now…after lumbering through the B1G, I doubt they beat any of them. They all got better. Purdue did not.
Next up FAU who probably played the most entertaining conference tourney game against UAB last Saturday night.
Teams figured out the way to play Purdue was to attack their guards. Purdue had no answers.
It was only entertaining because of UAB if we're being honest though
Part of this is on officiating like DJ Carstensen, Scirotto, Szelc, and the rest of these old school B1G 10 refs that call the game a certain way for these original members of the B1G like Iowa, Purdue, etc and when they don't get these same calls in the tournament from other refs in other conferences never does these teams any favors.
No arguments there, Purdue got figured out. But not every tournament loss needs to be an indictment of the conference as a whole. Crazy **** happens in March, hence the name.
People on here are somehow finding a way to even make a 16 over 1 upset annoying.

Also I know math isn't your strong suit but I have almost 4k fewer posts than you, so this is a pretty dumb line of attack.
As much as I want football to go to 8 or 12 to create more excitement, this tournament never needs to change unless it's back to 64.
Always great seeing a huge upset, unless it's your team being upset. Love that another small Jersey school could do it.
