I am curious to know the thoughts on this game...I know we play Wake tonight but do you think State has a chance to finally beat the cheats?

Or will they lay an egg like recent history tells us...

Roy has been to the same number of national championship games as he has losses to State while coaching at unc. Keatts is going to have to change that to be taken seriously.

I am a big fan of Keatts. He had Wilmington in back to back NCAA tournaments and had what would have been their highest rated recruiting class coming in before he took the job at NC State.

My point is that many coaches have failed at NC State and it has been a long time since State has made consistent runs in the tournament. He inherited a team that was 3-27 vs unc (with Roy) and so far he is 1-1 himself. I am just saying that whatever small victories he accumulates, he is going to have to consistently beat unc to separate himself from his predecessors. Tonight is a great time to start.

Good point Dirt! If State can turn them over often enough and either Johnson or Maye is off I think Pack will win. In fact I think they will win! OFC

I think NC State wins because they’re playing at home and the best thing about this game is that it is after ours, so UNC fans are going to be really unhappy about having to wait for our game to end, especially if our game runs a little long.

I thought i saw somewhere state was favored. I would be surprised if state doesn't win at least 1 against the cheats this year. They actually match up really well

Also i dont think unc defense is that good. Any team they have played with a pulse have scored at will against them. I thinl their defensive efficiency stats are very misleading

So much for that. You can’t miss four layups on one possession and expect to beat UNC. It’s not going to happen.

unc cheater u taking to NCSU. Can the Pack get it together. Side bar here. Has anyone noticed how ugly that tie hof coach roy williams is wearing? And the jacket is even worse. Who lays out what he's gonna wear? It looks like something Cousin Eddie would wear if he were the heels coach. OFC

Why do teams seem to have complete meltdowns when playing the Tarholes? NCst cant dribble, shoot, pass or rebound without turning it over

They are ugly, Sky! That jacket, either he has dozens like it, or that sucker has been around a long time...cause I've seen that one in tons of games
