JCA ended up in a very odd situation.
with 1.40ish left, they stop marist on a 4th down fleaflicker that went crazy and resulted in JCA basically intercepting the ball (bc it never touched the ground) near marist's 5 and the d player stumbled into the endzone.
had jca not scored, they down the ball 4times and win by 7.
instead, marist gets the ball back down 14, tossed a TD pass on 4th down after sever short completions, and gets to onside with 23 seconds left....luckily, the ball went out of bounds.
brutal.
Props to the ESCC for a bounce back year. hope we work it in the playoffs.
