Big credit to Barrington. They gave ND's defense more trouble than any other team this year (and that includes Naz who has some electric talent). They also have a solid defense.
Sxhurr was back for ND which was great to give them a different look. Sayles had a few really nice runs but couldn't get a ton going in the passing game (but did have one game saving floater pass to Schurr late in the 4th). Murphy's 32 yard FG late in the game was the difference maker. Not sure what happened on the onside kick at the end....was chaos, a big pile, then the refs huddled up and a cold silence deafening the stadium (with both sides pointing that they had recovered). Then the refs broke and ruled ND ball.
On to LWE. Excited to see Henning in person and see ND take on a premier program. Dons already saw one Michigan commit phenom with McCarthy, now we get to see the other. Hope the defense shows up to play as the offense will have trouble moving the ball.
