ND pitcher?

We have talked a lot about who we start, but anyone know enough about ND pitching to know who they might throw out there?

Mercer has been their Friday starter much of the season, may see him. But he’s got the worst stats of the three main starters. Bertrand from game 1 didn’t pitch near as long as he usually does - think he threw ~65 pitches vs normally 90-100. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if we saw him for any inning or two and then into their bullpen. The four guys we’ve seen so far should be the best they have. Wish we’d have gotten their starter out earlier yesterday and made Rao work more.

I imagine Will Mercer is the guy.

He doesn't have numbers that jump out at you. 4.53 ERA.

Shelled by Valpo, FSU, Boston College, Wake Forest, Virginia, Duke and Georgia Tech. Pitched well against Virginia Tech and North Carolina.

Usually goes 4 IP. Only one game has he made it into the 6th, and that was last week in a game they won 26-3.

We're going to have to score 10 runs to win this game.

Someone who can throw sliders and curveballs. Until we show that we won't chase balls out of the zone, that's who I'd throw.
