Should be ranked ahead of the 2-loss teams.
2 losses in the first 3 games doesn't deserve to be ranked IMO... especially when the teams that beat them haven't looked quite as good in another game.

Maybe Iowa can be ranked in the FCS poll
Back in 2007 when App St beat Michigan there were voters who wanted to vote for them. After that the AP said that FCS are allowed to receive votes in the AP Poll.
In fairness, their two losses are to top 10 teams… without that, they wouldn't even sniff the rankings…
Bigger issue with Ole Miss being ranked. Blew huge leads. Yes, I know one was to Bama but the other was to a FSU team that got hammered by Louisville.
So much concern about Iowa lately. I just care that we beat them on Black Friday.
Agreed. They still have the easiest conference schedule out of the potential West contenders, and I'd still consider them the favorite.
As an Iowa fan it sucks but thats why they play the games. Iowa had their chance about 10 times to put that game away and didnt do it so they got what they deserved. Could end up being a great motivating loss for the team or could be looking at 8-4; we shall see.
I don't know that we know a lot about how good OU is and they obviously are the benefactor of being highly regarded in the pre-season, but on that same note, how many teams ranked in the lower 5-10 spots in the poll wouldn't also have 2 losses if they played Houston and Ohio State?
The AP loves some Big 10 and has been over ranking teams for years from this conference. Get out of here with that nonsense.
