Google, "straw man argument," and tell me what you find out. Not once have I accused WVU fans of "saying that WVU would win big this year." Quite to the contrary, most "WVU fans" have incredibly low expectations for this season, and pie-in-the-sky expectations for future years. This is the wrong mindset in both respects. Firstly, a coach making over $3 million/season should not be given a "free pass" for this season. Secondly, nobody knows whether Brown will be successful in 2020 and thereafter, as he has proven that he can turn things around at a small school, but not established himself as a great recruiter or producer of NFL talent. To paraphrase Bill Parcells, you are what your record says that you are, and WVU's record sucks.
