Kanawha Valley homer sports fans have told me ever since I moved to West Virginia 29 years ago that Archie Talley was the best shooter/player ever to walk on the hardwood. it was Lerman Battle who played for fairmont...he was awful good but a guy named Earl The Hawk Hawkins from the mighty Glenville Pioneers took his girl and his lunch money when they played each other...them was the good ole days.......JoJo Retton......Fairmont East or Fairmont West.....brought back some good memories...lots of good players back then...Dwight Street from WV State was awful good tooSounds more like someone who spent some time there in Montgomery watching him play.

By the way, Thermon Battle from Fairmont State was one of the best players I remember from the WVIAC pre New Civic Center era. There, now you can let your BS flow.
