We should be ahead of Florida IMO but in the long run it really doesn't matter where we are ranked this week. We need to beat Ohio State or we'll continue to tumble.

Too bad, so sad big 12. Another year, no D conference, no title game, no playoffs. RIP Big 12. Lol

I don't agree with Florida placement but, I think they gave us respect and that goes' good with me. that being said , next week is a tuff game we have to play well to stay in this hunt.

We stayed ahead of the 2 loss teams (not counting Wiscy), which surprised me. Looks like the coaches think we are a good one-loss team.

The coaches can also see now that Wyoming and Northwestern are both damn good teams, and that reports of Oregon's death are greatly exaggerated. Combine that with our strong game against one of the better teams in the nation on their turf and you see the increasing respect for how good we are.

If our offensive line wasn't decimated we would probably have gone 12-0.

Depth is the difference between getting into the playoff discussion and falling short. Nebraska has no depth thanks to our recruiting efforts the last 7 years. That's quickly changing (or so it appears)

tOSU on the road right now is very tough, I'm assuming a loss there. Minn and Iowa are both respectable. MD should be a gimmee. So we could finish from 8-4 to 10-2. 8-4 is better than last year, but still kind of spinning our wheels with 4 losses again, sort of back to the pre-Riley square one. 9-3 or 10-2 would be a step up. I guess the point is that the final form of the season isn't settled yet. We need at least two more wins.
