Does anyone have an idea who will be in this years top 5 or 10 Nebraska High School Players? I expect to see Allen there obviously and likely Brett Kitrell but who else is up there?

Looking at the list of names so far is stunning. How can their be so little talent in Omaha / Lincoln. Seems like its been that way for years but it really makes no sense to me. Hard to believe that out of a population base of near 1 million football crazy fans that there isn't more talent produced. Also miffed that Nebraska seems to have lost the ability to produce lineman! I grew up on Nebraska's corn fed lineman. Is there a corn shortage I'm unaware of?

Really hope Ciurej, Begley, Kitrell all get offers. All well deserving IMO.

So, does anyone know anything about Patrick Arnold from Gretna.......Offer worthy?

I saw him play as a Soph. and thought he was a Senior. He is a big kid. I would guess they offer him a walk-on spot, but who knows, I didn't think that they would have offered Stoltenberg, so what do I know.

Some good kids that will be juniors this year too. Moses Bryant from Elkhorn South is good. Going to be recruited pretty hard I think.

I also think part of it is the style of offense. Not a ton of pass blocking being taught on the Nebraska high school level.

The talent level in the state seems to be up a little this year. Could be a dozen or so kids that receive D1 offers.

I have seen him play, he is pretty good, stands out for a good Gretna team, I also have watched him work w/Steve Warren through Warren Academy, has a good motor and is very coachable, takes to Steves work very well, now, D-1, I am not the one who decides, might be close? Good Kid

You can add Jordan Walker from Lincoln East, and Paup from Central City. Walker, might actually earn a surprise offer.. He's a legit 6'6 260, and he's lean with a massive Stoltenburg type frame.

It's Chris Walker at Lincoln East. Tall and lean, a lot of frame to put on good weight. Has a really good motor and a bit of a mean streak but is very unpolished. Projects as a tackle I think, but I'm not sure he has the quickness/speed needed at a place like NU. He is strong and works hard in the weight room so I guess you never know.

I'm partial as I live in Ashland. I'm excited to see what Brett Kitrell will do since he's recovered from his injury. He comes from great blood lines. Dad was a Husker FB, his oldest brother has a scholarship at Tulsa, other brother is a current Husker walk on. Great family, smart kid, and is strong as an ox! If Huskers don't offer lots of other D1 programs will.

Sorry about the incorrect first name... And IMO, I like him better as a future Dtackle in this scheme, but you never know.
