While a great number, it will interesting to see how we do the rest of the year. Wyo definitely helped those numbers.

We're gonna open some eyeballs. If Tommy can just play within himself and get the ball to the playmakers it'll put tremendous pressure on opposing teams offenses. They will push and we have the athletes to make them pay. Tommy had one or two bad throws this past game but except for that he's actually playing within himself and that's what we need.

You know that another team always has to "help" with those numbers. Not sure where you are going with that comment, but you can say the same that Tulsa helped Ohio St. with their "Numbers".

Like the original poster said "Smile" obviously you can't.

Turnovers can be game changers, especially against the tougher competition. Let's hope we continue way on the + side.

I really think we will. Tommy has played smart for three games straight and I see that as a huge plus. He's not going to be perfect and I don't expect him to be... just smart overall. And he's done that.

Chin up, lads. Good teams are supposed to beat bad teams the way NU has the last two weeks. No, that kid from Wyoming ain't Tom Brady but your choices are do pick off his bad passes or don't pick off his bad passes.

Has NU looked perfect? Certainly not. But as I like to say, if you only have one great half of football in you, make it the second! These 2nd half blowouts suggest that they're finding patterns and making adjustments.

Tommy went full Tommy on that INT in the end zone, but he cleaned it up from there. Tell me you won't take a 3:1 TD:INT ratio and I'll tell you that you're never gonna find a QB who makes you happy.

Ok, I will follow your lead and smile if that makes you feel better. Over what you wish to smile I am not certain. Two games in and Wyo was an unusually high number of turnovers. We are just two games in and against less than average (most likely, time will tell here as well) teams. I could care less about how anyone else is doing, I just concern myself with Nebraska and their opponent. It seems some are looking for every little piece of food news to hang their hats on. A little is OK but st this stage, the stats aren't telling the whole story.

And others are doing everything they can to tell us why our first two games haven't been all that impressive despite some impressive stats. In other words, always looking for the negative even with positives. Funny, I was taught to do the opposite-always look for the good. I guess if it makes you feel better to try to find reasons to downplay positive statistics, then go right ahead. That's not the way I look at my teams, or life in general for that matter.

If you haven't been paying attention, we haven't been forcing many turnovers against anybody in recent years. So what that Wyoming isn't exactly stellar competition. 6 turnovers against anyone is still impressive and it represents a definite improvement over what we had been seeing.
