What a stupid place to live. Spring and fall are OK but winter and summer suck.
I blame my lazy ancestors who only settled here because they were tired after crossing the Missouri and anything was better than Iowa.

You can always move to Fargo if you don’t like the weather here.

I love it. Absolutely love it.

Weather so 'bad' it keeps a lot of riff raff out.

We are so far from anything, nobody gives a ****, and we are far from a tourist attraction.

I don't have to wait in lines. I have an easy commute to work. Schools are good to raise kids, and while our taxes suck, we actually get much more bang for our buck than almost all other states.

I can play a round of golf in 4 hours or less just about anywhere. Fish, hunt, and photograph to one's hearts content.

I'll never understand those that wait in lines, ride subways, have hour long + commutes, and say they are 'living the life'.

Yeah, but living in Nebraska makes anyplace you go on vacation seem exotic by comparison.

"Yay! We're going to Topeka for the weekend!"

Came back from a Norwegian cruise last Wednesday, should have planned better for the middle of February last fall.

He says to buy it, but I like to also run things through several of my own filters first.
I had an awesome time been to resorts that had better restaurants there and loved visiting the ports..

One turn off is people in pools that never get out. Guess they urinate in the pool or the smaller areas with water by the edge of the boat sun lounging .

Currently sitting on the beach. Low 80s and a windy. Probably not getting in the ocean because it's a little cold.

Enjoy your afternoon everyone.

Must really suck.

Sitting on a beach and posting about how great it is. RollingLaugh

Make sure you update your Facebook to let everyone know.

We've had a pretty mild winter so far. Snow wise and temps. It was bound to catch up sooner or later. Feb has been a sumbitch and it's only half over.

If you still live in Nebraska why would you blame your ancestors and not the guy in the mirror?

No offense cruelhalo but I don't understand the love for the beach unless it's white sand, clear blue waters, and EMPTY. Literally no desire to ever go to 90% of beaches in the world. I don't get it. Glad people like it though to keep them away from here (aside from cruehalo of course).

I did enjoy stomping in around in the snow today.

Ocean is so over rated. Can't drive on it, build on it, ride a mtn bike on it, and it smells like dead fish and full of things that want to eat you.

I love the beach and ocean. "Smells like dead fish and full of things that want to kill you." You can say the same thing about any singles bar.😂

I would prefer to be on the boat or SCUBA diving but the beach is ok by me. It sucks because South Florida is hell of a lot more crowded than I remembered but moving back is better than Texas.

EDIT: catching lobster, stone crab and fish is so much better than buyimg it at a store.
We had grilled jerk swordfish in Jamaica. Pulled out of the ocean the night before. Cant get any fresher than that.

I will wholeheartedly agree that the fresh seafood would be incredible.

Some recent fantastic vacation spots were Laporte Indiana and Milwaukee Wisconsin

Our true winter months are really only January & February. It’s actually a pretty great setup. We might have a week long snow in March, but that’s typically paired with a week long 30-50 degree week in January.

Outside of annoying spring winds here, I love our weather. You can legit golf 11 months of the year, and it’ll be 12 months for this year
