Need a little help...........

Heading to Destin this summer, usually we go to Gulf Shore, been a long time since we went to Destin. Give me some advise on condo's or resorts. I will have my wife and teen age kids.

What do you want to do while you're in Destin? Just beach? Shop? Eat? Gay touristy ****? Fish? What type of vacation are you looking for? Need more details, pal.

There's literally thousands of condos.

I realize there are hundreds of condo's and resorts. I was hoping some of you guys would recommend a few. I'm looking for the beach life for my daughters and wife and just chilling. Nothing special but certainly not a tourist trap and a decent price on the beach.

Stay in Seagrove Beach. Less congested and it's right by Seaside. It's about 15 minutes east of Destin.

We stayed here last Fall (middle of October) and it was a nice condo.

Stay in Seagrove Beach. Less congested and it's right by Seaside. It's about 15 minutes east of Destin.

the first review got a laugh since there are so many jokes on here about weight and pizza

We had a great week here. The condo was fully stocked (if you eat lots of pizzas like we did, I would recommend bringing a pizza cutter--only thing missing) and the beds were comfortable. Steps from the beach....which is the BEST part of this condo. Beautiful views of the blue waters and no high sand dunes in front of the condo. Leanne was very easy to work with and friendly. If you are visiting Seagrove, we would highly recommend this condo.

Have stayed at the following two locations. One in Destin; one in Seagrove Beach. Destin will be way more crowded; more traffic. Both are nice. One in Destin is only 3 stories, so not a hassle to get to beach. You may end up on the 13th floor in Seagrove which is a chore to get to the beach each day.

Our daughter was 6 months old back in November (we went first week of Nov now that I remember) so we just wanted a place where we could be on the beach in a few steps. You are literally on the beach by walking down 4 steps. It was very nice.
