Where is Isaac going to hit? All the computer models only go out 5 days and show it aimed at the pan handle. I've got reservations in Gulf Shores for Labor Day weekend.

1. is it most likely headed on a course for the pan handle/gulf shores?
2. will it be cleared out by the 31st?

I believe some of the tropical models go 168 hrs+ out. Regardless... I looked at 3 separate models this morning. GFS had an Florida Atlantic coast landing (Ft. Lauderdale area).... European took it into the middle of the Gulf..... and Navy NOGAPS model took it up the eastern seaboard.

In short, still too much uncertainty right now.

There's going to be a pretty strong 500mb trough over the eastern US, which leads to a recurve of tropical systems the vast majority of the time. And yes, even if it comes that way, it should be gone by the 31st. Personally, I wouldn't cancel plans just yet.
