Need more Rbs

We need to recruit more rbs. Imo Griffin is a bust and Josh Robinson is so OVER-RATED. He tip toes and tap dances better than the late Gregory Hines. I still don't believe Perkins is an every down back. Milton has the most potential out of the group but our idiot coaches won't give him the ball. I wish we had Vick Ballard for one more yr. He was truly a stud. With all of this being said why not let Perkins continue to play the role he's played the last few years and make Milton the primary guy? Sounds like the best plan to me.

I knew with that username, it wouldn't be long until you started making absurd posts. Perkins has over a 6 yd per carry average. Both of the RS Freshmens have over a 5 yd per carry average. Griffin, as big of a bust as he is, has over a 4 yd per carry average. We are fine at rb, get that **** out of here.

I actually thought Josh Robinson looked good Saturday night. He was hitting the hole and making good yardage. Did a much better job of making reads on his running lanes than he did against Troy. He did make a mistake trying to double back against the defense on that one play but other than that he was very solid.

I just don't see in these guys what I saw in Ballard. I think its safe to say that Griffin is the new Rob Elliot. Why not just cut bait at the end of the season with Griffin and bring in a juco guy along with Kailo Moore and Ashton Shumpert. Makes perfect sense.

Perkins is 3rd in the SEC in rush yards. He has been very productive so far. It is crazy to call for change with a guy having the amount of success that he currently is.

There is a definite correlation

between those who create bad usernames and those who make bad posts.

So you want to cut a highly recruited guy, bring in a highly recruited freshman (who we haven't signed yet) along with a JUCO guy (who we haven't signed either) and cut Griffin loose? Oh, that makes perfect sense.

Your plan sucks. Have you looked at the roster?

Milton and Robinson are freshmens. Right now Milton is the better of the two. Barring a Nick Griffin type injury they are going to be very, very, good. Griffin is still fighting playing not to hurt that knee again. He is making progress but is still tentative running up field. He is far, far, from being a bust.

How is that that ninth grade English class, anyway?

to say anything about our running backs after just four games is dumb. I think they have all done really well over the course of four games with one being a conference and perkins looked pretty darn good in that game against auburn. he has done so far what a lot of people didn't think he could do running between the tackles. Note too that most of our other backs are redshirt freshmen or sophomores. Give them a break. They are still young and will get better.

I thought he looked good as well.

He bounces off tackles well and gets an extra yard or two when he goes down. He's going to be solid. He made a dumb freshman mistake trying to make something out of nothing, but that's why you put him in these games where you have more room for error in learning experiences for the young guys.

I think you've created enough threads now.

RB is one of the few positions that we are in really good shape with, and you're calling to cut ties with the youngest backs and start over?

Your ideas suck. Please stop creating threads with your opinions.

I have no complaints at all with any of them, especially Robinson. But I would not have liked being on the wrong end of that *** chewing he took when he got to the sideline when Russell got sacked. Mullen lit his *** up. Of course, Mullen was doing that quite often Saturday night. He was about as animated on the sideline as I have seen him all year. I actually started watching him more than the game because he was more entertaining. Back to the RB's, I believe they will be fine. May not be any Ballards in the group, but he was pretty special.

I'm not saying start over I'm saying do away with Griffin who will be a Jr next yr. Bring in a power juco guy and continue to recruit Moore and Shumpert. Let Milton be the primary guy and Perkins play his role he's played like previous years. Josh Robinson is OVERRATED. Watch his feet and how he attacks the line. He'd be fine in CUSA but not in the SEC. This is grown man football.

Sadly there is some truth in this. Milton should absolutely be our starting tail back. Perkins runs with almost no power.

Nick Griffin has 11 carries. He's less than 2 years removed from major knee surgery. I think he looks pretty damn good. Atleast let the man get 50 carries before you start calling for his head.

Link?

Almost 7 yards/play thusfar and we have multiple people questioning his ability?

We have 4 running backs splitting up all the reps. Robinson was bowling through their defensive line if he had gotten more reps he would have worn them down.

Geez, none of your points have any credible support. If you are going to make dumbass assertions like "our defense sucks" and "our RBs suck" and "mullinz sucks." Give some support... numbers... links... ANYTHING... or people are just going to keep calling you an idiot. If you say someone sucks, support your claim, give some reason, or GTFO.

Again another stupid post. Griffin is just like Robert Elliot. Great running back, but got hurt and did not come back the same. I do not know what games you are watching, but Robinson looked good other than that one run against Troy when he did not cut up in the running lane to get the first down. He is a freshman and he will learn, surely you do not expect our freshman running back to play like Bo Jackson his freshman year. The one thing we can agree on is that Milton has looked good thus far. Regarding Perkins, you have evidently not seen him this year, he has put on weight and muscle and is ready to tote the mail for us.

Our rb's are doing fine!!

Perkins has made nice improvements with his power and running. I think Milton looks really good and should get more snaps. Robinson will get better and better (see Perkins). Griffin wants to play really bad and if he can overcome the mental and physical constraints of his injury, I think he co-starts. Only thing with Griffin is that his remaining timeframe is going to make it extra challenging.
