Petal plays at Jim hill Friday night, do they play at Hughes field on Ellis ave.? If not please someone give me some info?

Looks like they play at the South Jackson field behind Forest Hill High School. **Probably just a tad safer there as opposed to Ellis Ave.**
Seriously though, I've played as a visiting team in 3 of those 4 stadiums. Played Forest Hill @ Forest Hill Field. It's more in the county than anything. They did, however, throw crap at our bus as we were leaving after we laid a 45-0 beatdown on them. Played against Murrah @ Newell Field in Belhaven multiple times. Right by hospitals so not a bad area. (or closer if you get shot, depends on how you look at it!****) Against Provine @ Hughes Field was as sketchy as it sounds, though. Nothing touched @ Greenville-Weston, though.

Friend of mine who went to Wingfield back in the day now has kids at Madison Central. She's told me that when they go to Hughes Field, there are police there constantly telling you to keep moving from the parking lot into the stadium (as if there were any real danger you would dawdle out there).
Last two times I went to Hughes Field to see Madison Central play Provine, JPD was wanding home side fans on the way in and waving visiting fans through without a glance. Not sure if it qualifies as racism since it was black officers doing it(and there are fans of all races at both schools) but I just thought it was an unfair way to go about it. Seemed odd to me, but everyone just walked through and did whatever they were told with no complaints...otherwise, I didn't feel the least bit uncomfortable or threatened.
