Any link to his bio? What's his name? What class? Good to get a legacy regardless.
Talk about under the radar. He's not even listed on the Rivals database that I can see.http://journalstar.com/sports/huske...cle_6cf4b1d6-f85e-11e5-a7a7-afff6f965788.html
Ne'Land Smith is listed in various places as a 6-3, 180-pound prospect who played wide receiver for Blue Springs High School in Missouri, the same school that produced Carlos and Khalil Davis. Smith also has participated on the track and field team.
That's what the JournalStar says. He was a pretty average high and long jumper on the track team it appears. Never know what he could grow in to with some time in the weight room though. Daddy is a large man.Pretty sure he will be a walkon guys.
Doesn't that picture make everything feel riright again?
25 years of NFL experience and 3 Super bowl wins I think. GBRDoesn't that picture make everything feel riright again?
If I remember correctly Neil came in as a pretty skin kid that filled out pretty quickly. I won't be surprised if his son grows in to a TE before he's done.
I don't know about the speed. I think he triple jumped 41 ft, long jumped 20+ and high jumped around 6ft. It doesn't appear that he ran sprints. That makes him a decent athlete but not great. That said, he's 6-3 and looks like he's a kid that will be a late bloomer. Nothing hurt by having Neil's son walk on and see how he grows up.IIRC dad had the fastest electronic timed 40 for a D Lineman in the history of the program, at least at one time, but it might still stand. Like a 4.64 or something crazy like that, and this was well before his senior year.
If he can put on some size and has that kind of speed, look out.
