Eh, it's just a basketball game at the end of the day. I've been excited for a couple of weeks now, but I don't really get nervous about then anymore.
First true road game against a top ranked team I want be surprised if the environment is too much to overcome. So yes I am nervous
Good thing everyone on this roster. minus Johnson and Moreno have played in these environments before. Multiple times. Shots may not fall, but the Yum won’t intimidate this group.
It should be a good game, we know Lowe, Aberdeen, Mo and Oweh will not be intimidated by any team. It would be nice to have JQ, I’m sure they are glad he’s not playing.
Feel like it's going to be a battle tonight and I'd be lying to say I'm not a bit shaky about tonight's game. UL, much as I dislike them, is a talented team playing at home. They haven't won much in this rivalry lately so I think they have focused more on this game for a long time than we have and will give us everything they've got. We have a outstanding team too and can meet the challenge if everyone is truly healthy and ready to go. I'm going with my Cats in a nailbiter. Sure wish we had a healthy JQ though and I would be very confident then.

I only get nervous in the last minutes of tournament games during March, knowing a loss ends the season. I'm excited about tonight's game, for sure, just not nervous about it.

Yep I'm in the same boat.
Worst thing can happen here is what a loss. Season isn't over. It's not the end of the world. All the regular season is are chances to build the resume to get the best seeding possible and prepare for March.
Once we hit the NCAA tournament then knowing that every possible game could be the last one till November, that always makes me nervous. Even in tournament games where UK is a big favorite lol.
It's because you're still conditioned to the Calipari way. Just remember the Duke game last year. Third game of the year after two patsies. Pope ain't about making excuses about being too young and whatnot.
I hate UL. Can’t stand to lose to them. Glad it doesn’t happen often. But when they pull one out they talk about it forever. Couple guys I work with are huge UL fans. We can’t lose.
I’m only more nervous about this one because I live just outside of Jefferson County. And BWO74 is right, these fools will talk about it forever.
I know I’m in the minority but I hate playing u6! I hate having to think about u6! I don’t care how many times we beat them. It’s always just a relief that the game is over.

Well, the law of averages says they have to win one now and then. I hope tonight isn’t it, we have our best player out and they don’t, so they may be sitting in the catbirds seat for this game.
It's one of those games where given our dominance in the rivalry it's like a no win situation. You win the game and it's like well yeah we are supposed to the win the game. You lose the game and it's awful lol.

Yep living in Jefferson county makes this a must win because those bird brains won't shut the hell up about it if they win. I'm the ONLY UK fan at work so it would be insufferable!
