If Waubonsie would stop fumbling it over to NV and bad snapping it over QB and run right at them where they were getting good 7-12 yard chunks between the tackles very consistently - it might be a close game. Gettin too cute with horizontal plays when vertical runs are gashing them. Man WV does not look good this first half. Hopefully they get it together and make it a game. That blocked FG at half time says it all..
Agree on running right up the middle.
Neuqua is having success running until they get down to the 25.
Good game so far. Lots of hitting.
Another WV fumble and NV recovery and run back for a TD. I don't think I have ever seen WV play this bad.
NV D is playing well but omg WV playing bad. Another turnover. Think that's 4 now.
I'm not sure why WV Offense is so in love with those sideline horizontal plays when they were having success between the tackles. Run the frikkin ball when your QB is struggling.
First NV/WV game in years.
Warriors were:
OUTCOACHED
OUTCLASSED
OUTPLAYED
Warrior D was better in second half, D line gets tired and D coordinator does not rotate even for a series. End of first half kids were gassed.
Pass D wasn't any better. Kids were open most of the game, missed opportunity for NV ended up with field goals.
I think the 3-5 confused the young line , but they shot themselves in the foot many times, as VT21 said - they are in love with the sideline pass, and turnovers .
NV came to play and hats off the the FG kicker.
NV won the battle of the trenches.
Changes in personnel ?
Rotate more kids to get starters rest?
Run more?

Unfortunately can't disagree with any of your commentary. Except technically two minor points
1. WV was able to run it well between the tackles but yes it looked like part of the line got confused at times with the 3-3-5. And if I never see another horizontal sideline pass or wacky long pitch I will be a happy man
2. DLine Roation: They did put in 64 on the DLine for two plays when NV inside the 10. NV false started twice and then they took out 64 and of course NV passed for a TD. That was the only rotation I saw all nite. So overall totally agree with you.

I am pleasantly surprised with the way Neuqua has been playing. I was sure NC was gonna throttle them last week and that game was basically evenly matched.
I didn't give them much of a chance tonight and they dominated. Partly because of the aforementioned issues at WV......but Ellinghaus has them playing fast, hard, and smart. They'll be a tough out going forward.

Yes you are correct, the run game was working well, Then they decided to throw the ever so popular sideline pass.
I think in the long TD pass the D was gassed, no pressure and WV couldn't run him down, WV has burners in the D backfield = TIRED

I believe so. That's another issue that needs to get nipped in the bud. Very interesting (in a Bad way) that he would be missing that game two years in a row.
That's going to hurt, went from top contender to scratching and fighting to make the playoffs.

What did 8 do? I left with 4 minutes or so left. He was a punk last year in this game and he wasn't much better tonight.
Not real sure exactly. I was told said the magic word to the ref. Don't quote me , this came from the coaching dads in the stands.
VT21 is correct, this needs to be corrected FAST.
They just refuse to play guys other than #8 both ways or at least frikkin rotate as big John noted. There is a DLineman that needs to be playing on Oline and vice versa an Olineman also playing on DLine. Plus some kids that could help that have yet to see the field
If they don't make some adjustments there will be more Than the two Ls you noted and they will Be sitting home watching the playoffs.
I was impressed with the Neuqua QB. He had zip on his ball and made some nice throws (yes missed a couple) but had some right on the money that were very tough throws. Seems like half the DVC has a QB that can sling it.
