Never again will I go to that stadium

It was announced that all us State fans should report to a shopping center to be transported by bus to the stadium. We got to the shopping center around one o'clock, only to find two lines twisting through the parking lot. There were no signs or info to tell us where to go first. We found out by word of mouth we should start off at the end of that long line OVER THERE to obtain tickets to board one of the 5 buses that were running (each with a capacity of about 50 people) then we were supposed to go to the end of that long line OVER THERE to be in line to actually get on a bus. My party was intimidated by the length of the lines so we gave up and went back to the Swamp to a local watering hole to watch the game on tv. Some others in our group stayed in line, and finally made it into the stadium about the middle of the first quarter. I repeat - NEVER AGAIN. Whoever was in charge of developing and implementing that piss poor plan to move thousands of people should be fired. I admit, through no fault of the organizers, the 85 degree heat added to the problem.

Well if I had been smart enough to ignore the official guidelines that's exactly what I would have done. The plan sounded good - park and ride, no sweat. The execution was horrible, but we didn't know that, did we, until we were in the middle of that cluster 17. Hindsight is wonderful.

As soon as I heard about that bus deal, I knew it would be a disaster. The only way to do Ladd Peebles is to drive down close to the stadium and pay to park in someone's yard or business in the neighborhood right next to the stadium.

I've been to that stadium twice for MS/AL High School All-Star games

It was in a hell hole both times. Has the hole improved since, or is it still adjacent to hell?
