Except that we apparently love grooving fastballs right down the pipe to the same guys who have already hit it out of the park at least once. I guess we don't subscribe to the definition of insanity.

WTF were we really thinking ?
Win 2-3 games this weekend against a bad A&M squad, make it Hoover as the 12 seed only to go one and done or 1-2.
maybe we got lucky and went 2-2
For what ??
Did anyone really think Lemonis and this team could nut up and win 8-9 games in a row to make it into the NCAA’s ?

Lemonis should be fired Saturday night.

I never thought I would say this, but I hope not. I was ready for this season to be finished after we lost the series to Auburn. There have been signs of life immediately followed by run-ruled losses, double-digit outings, and a gang of errors in each game that have not disappeared or improved.

It’s a long wait between Memorial Day and Labor Day. And I don’t care even a little about the NBA Finals or MLB. Been a rough season but as long as they’re playing I’ll root for them to keep playing and keep winning. Because the summers between baseball and football last forever.
