Never seen helmet for State

I’d be fine with 1979 uniforms. Only change is grey pants when wearing white tops.
I didn't realize how much we used the white helmet, and I could not stand it.
In 2015 when they adjusted the M-STATE logo to the banner and M being different colors is the best IMO. Also that one helmet that we never saw until now wouod have been really cool to have worn at least for a game or two.
Love how we’ve worn more helmet iterations in the last 15 years than we did in the first ~115 years of our history.
I, too, remember when Cash Money Records was our equipment provider. Wild times.

BTW, it’s crazy how much we tweaked the Banner M since 2009. I think they finally got it right the past 5 years, but now it’s gone until nostalgia for the Mullen era hits in twenty years.

We have won in white helmets, and we have had our *** kicked in white helmets. I will not where a white shirt to a game. It is absolutly bad luck.
I never have liked any striping down the center of the helmet, especially the white helmet. But I do like the white helmets with white face mask… no stripe. That with all white jerseys and pants looks fast and clean. Just my view.

Ok I think I can shed some light on the demon Bulldog looking helmet. This would’ve been 2015 which was Adidas in its peak copy and paste era. Louisville announced they were wearing this helmet in their season opener that was very similar to the design mentioned above:

Well fast forward to fall camp, our players were given some gear with the demon Bulldog logo on it. I want to say there was a picture of Chris Jones wearing it. It received poor feedback on social media and message boards and then it was never seen again. Kinda like a Vroom Maroon thing.
I imagine that was a test balloon for the helmet, and then it was quickly axed.
