....where a blue blood like Bama is systematically destroyed the way they were, by one of the most losing programs ever, in a game that mattered.

Then you have Ole Miss actually out-playing Georgia in the same magnitude game. No luck with turnovers, penalties, etc.......they simply appeared to be the better team.

This never happens in the old era. Ever. I think this was Bama's worst loss in like 100 years or some BS.

I have to hand it to Ole Miss. Their crootin 'network' was built for this new NIL/portal era, and they've taken advantage. Miami has used it to get 'back' as well. SMU another. Oregon has used it to cement themselves.

I have a feeling we in Starkville are not going to learn our lesson, and realize we need to improve ourselves the Indiana/Cignetti way. I think we're going to try and copy Ole Miss, Miami, SMU. Give give give give and trust us.

Unfortunately in sports......there's a lot of the dumb T-bro attitude of "if you didn't play you don't know". So there's a barrier to entry into things like that. All you have to do is look around and see the idiotic decisions being made by those guys.......and then see the middle class idiots like you who donate to it.

It's certainly fascinating. But yeah I think I could do a pretty good job of it, especially AD.

It also helped that the reffs were big 10, not SEC. If they had been SEC, Georgia would have won.

We should fight to take La Tech’s spot as Tx State replacement in the Sun Belt. We could have some great natural rivalries with MS Southern, Arkansas State and Troy.

Heard that it was Alabama's worst loss ever in a playoff game. The beatdown by Georgia earlier this year was similar, and I think the FSU loss was close, but I don't remember one that was actually worse. They were just not very good this year.

They're back where they were several years ago when they were looking for another Bear. They finally found him in Saban, but then he quit, knowing what was coming. DeBoer may be their one of several sacrificial lambs.

The fans I know here are really depressed and really, really got to where they felt entitled. It's good to see and be in the middle of it here.

One of the worst ever, period. Playoff only been around 12 years.

I did forget that Clemson beat them by 25 in 2018. But that game was not just a physical dismantling like yesterday. Clemson hit on some big plays but at least they look like peers. Yesterday looked like Bama playing us in the early Saban years.

It will be interesting to see if this year is an anomaly or the playing field is truly leveled.... for those with money.

Alabama and uGA won't stand for those loses more than once. They'll get their wagons in order and return. But I beleive they'll continue to lose half their signing classes every year with the portal and nil.

It will be interesting to see if OM keeps this going post Kiffin. I would think IU will continue to build and establish something with Cig and Cuban. TT has a great coach and benefactor. But they probably maxed their ROI this year.

It was Alabama's worst bowl game loss since the 1972 Orange Bowl, when Nebraska beat them 38-6. It was their worst overall loss since 1998, when Arkansas beat them 42-6.

You are right about that being a total systematic destruction of Alabama. They were completely outdone in every aspect. That hasn’t happened in a long time, but 100 years? We have short memories I guess. I’m not sure I know what the Cignetti way is as opposed to the Ole Miss way is. Get the players and the right coach (mostly players) seems to be the way no matter where you are.

You left out this part: "The beatdown by Georgia earlier this year was similar, and I think the FSU loss was close, but I don't remember one that was actually worse". Context.
