New 2016 Husker "Coming Soon" Pump Up Video - What Do You Guys Think?

Our son, who grew up in the Kansas City area but is now entering his Sophomore year at UNL created his third Husker pump up video recently. He just picked his major - Journalism: Broadcast Production, so he seems to have knack for creating such things.

While obviously biased, I think he did a pretty good job. What do you guys think?

He did a nice job highlighting multiple players, that's something I really like. Especially the fact his focus was on returning players and not guys that are no longer around. Could've had some more clips, it is what it is though, nice work!

To begin the video, he didn't let anyone know it was Merril Hoge speaking of his experience at a game in Lincoln. At the very least, show his name so people know who the background voice belongs to. Without that, it's just words and could be from just about anyone. With Hoge's name displayed, it gives credibility to the voice.

Nice video, really like the beginning of it. The only thing missing is the "Can You Feel it" music because that song gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it.

Yeah, I really like the ones with music, although the last few I viewed on Youtube, the music isn't really pump up type music. Everyone needs more rock n roll!

Agree on your reco on intro'ing of Merril Hodge. I had the same suggestion for my son but he chose to ignore it. That happens a lot.

The thing that really gets me mad about that play is not only could it have changed the outcome of that game, ejecting one of the best defenders, but the fact that the uproar over it died down so quick. That was one of the most egregious of a long list of examples of how out of control and terrible officiating has become in college football, and after it happened, there was a pretty big national uproar from a lot of people over it, even those with no connection to either team. I thought that it might finally get a discussion started that always seems to want to be avoided, what can be done about the state of officiating in college football. Instead, after a few days, it basically disappeared and nothing more was said.

I still remember Gerry standing next to Mora on the sidelines waiting for the review to finish. Reading Mora's lips at the time I'm pretty sure he said something like "that was a clean hit."

Nicely done video. I agree that Hoge should have been identified, but minor point.

Agreed. Still think that Kenny Bell hit on the Wisky guy was a bs call as well. Might as well start handing out flags for their belt.
