Bob Tyler era was known for the plain maroon and white, no stripes on the jersey tear aways.<div>
</div><div>Bellard had these jerseys at Texas A & M and then hauled them over this way for the last couple of years of his tenure here.</div><div>

And I can't see Addidas giving both us and A&M essentially the same uniforms.

Seems too coincidental for mock-ups to be so similar. The undershirts with the numbers and patches in the sleeves, the stripes over the shoulders and down the arms...

I would expect the mock-ups sent to MSU and to A&M would be very similar. I have no real knowlege of how the process works, but I wouldn't think mock-ups of potential uniform concepts would be unique to each school they serve. I would expect several schools would get the same mock-up (that particular one may have gone to just MSU and A&M since we've both worn that uniform before). Just because A&M went with it doesn't mean we did.

I love some alternate/odd ball uni, but these just suck. They look old without having any sort of retro feel.<div>
