Must say, I think a generation where Mom's and Dad's have told them how great they are no matter what, could use a little reality check. I am going to run the social experiment on some kids (14-15) I'm coaching this summer where I tell them how bad they suck when they actually suck. And from what I have seen so far, boy do these kids suck.
Need some nicknames for these kids, here's what I have so far:
Ofer - Kid who never gets a hit
Whiff - Kid who never even makes contact
David - Kid who stands at the plate like a statue and never even swings
Backstop - Catcher who can't block anything
Rain Delay - Kid who takes forever
Hasselhoff - Slow runner
T-Rex - Kid who short arms his throws
Beetlejuice - Sucks so bad his name won't get called 3 times all season
Short Hop - Kid with a weak arm
Mini Skirt - Kid who won't stay down on grounders
It’s not that you suck, you just seem to have incredibly bad luck every time you step on the field.
