The nerve of of somebody to pick against the Bears. I guess I should be offended by all these blowout predictions. Maybe he would like it better if you predicted 7-6 S2V?Originally posted by NBBears20124ACHAMPS:
Hillside gonna score 24 more points then they did week 1? Hillside has averaged 15 points a game in the 5 meetings against the Bears. Never scored more than 27. New Bern is 30-1 in their last 31 home playoff games. NB's D gives up 7 points a game.

Lets just simplify it
10-3 HornetsI
So you increased your predicted margin of victory based on the Hornets forcing 3 turnovers. But you deducted NO points from the Bears for returning 3 Rose turnovers for Touchdowns. Sounds like another recalculation is in order.Originally posted by lovethembears:
Just watched the HS/71st game. Taking nothing away from the Hornets, but 3 turnovers in the red zone (6 total)really helped. 71st seemed to be moving the ball pretty well...then turn it over. HS had one great, long 80 yard drive and one other big play on O but that was really it. Changes my opinion a little. I was thinking a 14 point victory for the Bears, but I'm gonna say 21 points now.
Go Bears!
The recalculation was about the point spread he calculated. Pay Attention.Originally posted by NBBears20124ACHAMPS:
Yes we scored 21 points on D against Rose. Offense scored 33 on Rose two weeks before that with Mike Hughes playing 1 quarter.
Recalculation? No. Why should we expect Hillside to score this go around?
Well, no I wasn't acting as if they only score on D. That was the line of reasoning used by one of your fellow Bears. I believe otherwise as I have already stated. I believe there are 3 phases to a football team. I also believe football is the ultimate team sport. If those rushing yards are an indicator of the outcome of the game, then that makes it a 50/50 proposition, correct. I do believe it each squad is 1-1 on the 2 games you referenced.Originally posted by NBBears20124ACHAMPS:
Hornet. Attention was paid, keep up. You act as if NB only scored points on D.
Good point. I wouldn't discount a team led by Mike Hughes. He had over 180 yards rushing against Hillside last year and 140 earlier this year. Two more days.
LMFAO. Uhhh I never said you were going to win.Originally posted by bearsfan83:
Hornet,
You are correct! We will win this game. I can tell you though you do have to play! So let's look at your film from last week! Offense scored on what looks like the deep pass! No runs passed 25 yards! To td's off turn overs in red zone and the first came as defenders ran into each other, second was a tight end who nobody wanted to hit low and hard and third through the deep pass again. That was it ball game!
Our first game NO deep pass completions, NO extra long runs, NO points scored!!
Yes we both have gotten better and yes hillside deserves to be here but it will be a long ride back'
LTB said it right This Bears team is different, it's like they thrive on the unknown and are not afraid of things happening!
Like I said to start this thread !!
Float like butterfly sting like a bee you'll come to Caruso Coates stadium to watch the hornets exit in round three !!!
We do not live on the long ball. You'll probably see one long ball friday, max.Originally posted by bearsfan83:
Hornet,
Again your right!!! I said we are going to win!! Funny how you didn't mention the tight end that nobody hit hard at all!! Oh I have watched that film and more !! Hornets live on that Long Ball!!! Good luck this week! Happy thanksgiving and may you drive safe!! Should be fun!!!
Bears by as much as they want!!!!
Ive noticed that teams like to blitz us. I think the Bears are going to blitz the A Gaps on certain downs.Originally posted by NBBears20124ACHAMPS:
I think we will see more than one. NB should get pressure forcing Nas to throw some balls up, like he did week 1.
I see you are now on the Hillside bandwagon S2V.
